1. Trademarks can be divided into registered trademarks and unregistered trademarks according to whether they have been approved for registration by the Trademark Office.

2. According to different perception methods, it can be divided into visual trademarks, auditory trademarks and olfactory trademarks. Visual trademarks include two types: flat trademarks and three-dimensional signs.

3. According to the number of trademark rights holders, they can also be divided into single-owner trademarks and exclusively owned trademarks. According to Article 3 of the Trademark Law, trademarks approved and registered by the Trademark Office are registered trademarks, including commodity trademarks, service marks, collective trademarks, and certification marks. That is to say, these four types of trademarks are clearly divided into four basic types of registered trademarks in law.
