KC certification:
1. The Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) of South Korea announced on August 25, 2008 that the National Standards Committee will be implemented from July 2009 to December 2010 A new national unified certification mark called the "KC Mark" mark.
2. The new logo KC Mark represents Korea Certification. The current 13 mandatory signs will eventually be unified under this new sign.
3. One result of this initiative is to reduce suppliers’ expenditure on certification fees, making South Korea’s KC Mark gradually become a world brand certification. But there is a drawback. The recently promulgated KCC logo will only be implemented for a few years and will eventually be unified under this new KC logo.
