All the buildings are well-preserved, the courtyards are clean and tidy, and the national style is obvious. There is also a temple in the palace.
The atmosphere of the whole palace is so peaceful, and the people who come here to pay homage are so pious. In the Buddhist temples here, people can be seen everywhere paying homage quietly and solemnly, carrying out their ceremonies like no one's watching.
The Grand Palace is one of many royal palaces in Thailand. It is the most well-preserved, largest and most national palace in all previous dynasties.
When you walk into the courtyard of the Grand Palace, the first thing you see is a vast grassland and ancient trees with different postures. There are some bodhi trees and other tropical trees planted around the lawn. The stupa-like spire of the Grand Palace goes straight into the clouds, and the fish-scale glass tiles shine brilliantly under the sunlight.
6. There are tall white palace walls around the Grand Palace, with fortresses, palace gates and palaces in between. There is an oval square in front of the palace, Wangjiatian Square, which was once used as a royal square. Nowadays, every spring ploughing festival and Thai New Year, the king presides over the celebration ceremony here.
