1. Itinerary: Nanning --- Chongzuo Detian Waterfall --- Mingshi Villa - Daxin - Nanning

Arrive in Nanning at 4.30 in the evening and arrive at Detian Waterfall in the morning Bus. It was already 10pm when we arrived in Nanning. Since there was road construction near Langdong Station, there were very few taxis, so we took our suitcases and walked for a while. Fortunately, we met a taxi along the way. It was almost 11 o'clock when we arrived at the hotel, feeling hungry and tired.

5.1 Get up at 7 o'clock in the morning, pack things, go out at 8 o'clock, the bus leaves from Nanning Langdong Station at 8:30, there is only one bus a day, if it is late, you can only transfer to Daxin County, and then from Daxin County There are many buses from Daxin to Detian. It took 6 hours of driving and we didn’t arrive in Detian until 2 pm. I was hungry at noon and had to endure it. The journey was too bumpy and I was exhausted from the car ride. Such a good resource, but the roads have not been repaired, and there are no railways and other transportation. The local government is really fed up.

After getting off the bus, we looked for a place to eat nearby. Restaurants in tourist attractions are too expensive, more than twice as expensive. After dinner, I looked for a place to stay and asked several hotels. The prices were all the same, 300 per night, and the accommodation conditions were average. Finally, I stayed at the Detian Backpackers Inn. Because I was too tired, I slept in the hotel for a while after selling the tickets, planning to walk around when I woke up.

When I woke up, it was already past 6 p.m., and it was getting dark, so I walked around. I thought there were places to go shopping around, but I found out that there was really nothing to go shopping. The location was relatively remote, and it was located on the border between China and Vietnam. It was difficult to go out at night, so safety was important. While walking on the road outside Detian, I learned from people around me that Vietnam is across the river. I didn't expect that the Sino-Vietnamese border was such a narrow river, so I went down for a walk and at the same time looked at Detian from a distance. The waterfall is not as stunning as expected.

5.2 After getting up in the morning, I packed my things and went out at around 7 o'clock. I had breakfast at a porridge shop. When I paid, I found out that I had been ripped off. A bowl of porridge was 5 Yuan, so cheating. Departing from Detian, I was so disappointed when I saw the waterfall. It didn’t feel like a waterfall, it was just water. There is a river in the middle, and across the river is Vietnam. There are bamboo rafts in China and Vietnam. You can take a bamboo raft to see the waterfall, but the water is indeed relatively clear. There are three viewing platforms to see the waterfall, and you can go up. You can take a horse ride to the 83rd Sino-Vietnamese Boundary Monument. There are many Vietnamese products on it. There are also Vietnamese who come to China on bamboo rafts to sell things. Since the river is a public area, they generally do not go ashore and it is not considered crossing the border.

I have finished visiting Detian Waterfall at around 9 a.m., and plan to go to Mingshi Pastoral Garden at noon. There is no shuttle bus from Detian to Mingshi, only a van. Chartering a van costs about 150 for 2 people, which is relatively expensive. Finally, by chance, we met a car returning and gave us 50 yuan to take us back to Mingshi Pastoral. When I arrived at Mingshi Garden, I discovered that it was really cheating. The so-called countryside was just taking a bamboo raft. Since there were too many people, I walked over to Mingshi Villa without waiting. Mingshi Tianyuan and Mingshi Villa are not the same place. Tianyuan is a bit trickier. There is nothing around but bamboo rafts. The scenery around the villa is more beautiful and grand. We had dinner at a farm at noon. Since there was still about 1 kilometer to go from Tianyuan to Shanzhuang, we didn’t have a car, so we had to walk. On the way, we met a bus from Tianyuan to Shanzhuang, so we got on the bus decisively.

The natural pastoral scenery of Mingshi Villa is very beautiful. We didn't consider the situation carefully, so we rented a car and went riding around 1pm. In the end, we didn't appreciate the beautiful scenery, got sunburned, were very hot and tired, and didn't have the heart to appreciate the scenery along the way. The scenery along the way is basically cornfields. It’s the wrong time to come. If you come in October, the scenery is very beautiful.

The time we came to Detian Waterfall was also wrong. It was not the rainy season, so the water volume of the waterfall was relatively small.

1. Take the bus from Nanning Arrive at Detian Waterfall at around 2 p.m. and then go sightseeing. It is expected to last about 3 hours. If you are not staying in Detian, we will rent a car to Mingshi Villa at around 5 p.m. and stay at the villa. Although it is more expensive, you can play and visit the villa at night. And the ticket for visiting the villa is 160 for two people.

2. The pastoral scenery around Mingshi Villa is very beautiful, and the weather is cooler in the morning. It is recommended to rent a car and ride in the morning. You can complete a lap in 2 hours, and then go shopping in and around the villa in the morning. Have lunch at a nearby farmhouse at noon.

3. In the afternoon, take a bus to Tongling Grand Canyon, then take a bus from Tongling Grand Canyon to Chongzuo Bus Station, and take the bus back to Nanning.

4. Travel experience

2. Choose the right time. When visiting mountains, water and natural scenery, you have to choose the right time. This time we went to Detian Waterfall and chose the wrong time to go to Mingshi Villa.
