Personal ideals
The first of Bill Gates’ three ideals is to let everyone have a computer and use the WINDOWS system; the second is to eliminate AIDS, tuberculosis and Malaria, let everyone have equal medical opportunities; the third one is to let the poor have access to clean and economical electricity to solve the increasingly severe energy problem.
Social Evaluation
Bill Gates makes more money than anyone in human history, and he is trying to donate his money. Most people would probably spend their money elsewhere, or donate just a little and hope someone else would give them a medal, instead of spending all their time like Bill Gates looking for real solutions. Something that works. This is his life's work. (Clinton Comment)
If Gates sold hamburgers instead of software, he would also become the world's burger king. (Buffett’s comment)
