1. Barcode application procedures

1. The applicant must provide the manufacturer identification code procedure and provide the corporate business license or business license and its copy.

2. You need to pay an official fee of 1,880 yuan to apply for a product barcode;

3. It takes about 1 working day to apply for a barcode;

4. Fill in the " China Commodity Barcode System Member Registration Form", you can fill out the registration form directly online at ANCC.

5. After the preliminary review of the applicant’s application materials, those that meet the requirements will be reviewed and approved.

6. After receiving the application materials that have passed the preliminary review and the fees paid by the applicant (see Table 1), if the applicant does meet the specified requirements, the registered manufacturer identification code will be approved to the applicant and the approval process will be completed.

7. The applicant unit receives the members of the Chinese Commodity Barcode System and the application is completed.

2. Common barcodes are mainly EAN barcodes and UPC barcodes

EAN barcodes are currently commonly used barcodes and are commonly used in many countries and regions around the world (except for the United States and parts of Canada) ;

UPC barcodes are used in the United States and Canada. To apply for UPC barcodes, you must first apply for the EAN-13 code.
