If you are a novice, I recommend opening automatic ads for about 10 days and a half. It's a little basic, it's manual, it's precise matching, it takes about 10 days and a half.
Wait until 10 days or about half a month and look at the advertising report. What data do you mainly look at?
1. CTR, Click Through Rate. It refers to the number of clicks after the advertisement is seen by buyers, CTR=Clicks/Impressions. For example, if this ad group has 10,000 impressions, and then 100 people click to view it, the CTR is 1%.
Looking at the report, if the CTR is too low, it reflects that the competitiveness of the advertising space is too low, and the effectiveness of the advertising and booths will be greatly reduced. If the CTR is too low, the weight of the listing will drop rapidly. Because the exposure is given to you, but no one clicks to view it, Amazon will think that it will be given to you, but you are not sure, which means that your product is not competitive. It’s hard to give you a second chance, so a lower CTR would be much better.
Usually if the CTR is too low, it means that your main image cannot attract customers. You can consider whether to change the main image. If it’s not too bad, I don’t recommend changing it, because starting from July 1 this year, the main image, title, and search term can no longer be changed casually. If you change the weight, the weight will drop very quickly, so before listing, You must fully optimize your products.
2. ACOS, the ratio between advertising spending and sales. For example, if you burned $10 in advertising today, but generated $100 in sales, then the ACOS is 10%. The lower the ACOS, the better. Generally, people think that if the ACOS is lower than 10%, then you are definitely a master of operations.
3. CR conversion rate (Conversion Rate) refers to the number of orders generated after buyers click on the advertisement, CR=Orders Number/Clicks. The bigger the better, indicating that the ads and products are well optimized.
