If there is no wine label, it is probably not a big brand.
Red wine label: 1. The name of the producer or winery. This information tells you the origin of the wine and is usually marked on the wine label. A prominent position on the label, or a short paragraph of text at the top or bottom of the wine label (such as French wine). In the United States, the wines produced by some large wineries will only have the series name of the wine marked on the wine label.
2. The production area information indicates the production area of ??the wine grapes. Whether it is "Old World" or "New World", the more specific the production area information on the wine label, the higher the quality of the wine, and of course the higher the price. Some wines will even indicate the vineyard from which their grapes were selected.
3. Grape variety or place of origin. This information indicates the grape variety used to make the wine. However, many blends do not list all of the blended varieties and their percentages. If there is no variety marked, then look at the origin information of the wine, because according to the nomenclature of the origin, the wine grape variety of the place is determined and unchanged. Currently, 15 countries around the world have legal designations of origin, but the degree of implementation and specific measures vary.
4. The vintage is the year the grapes were harvested to make the wine. Familiarizing yourself with the different vintages will help you learn more about wine. Generally speaking, the quality of multi-vintage blended wines (or non-vintage wines) is not high, because these wines are mostly blended from several vintages in order to enhance the flavor of the wine. See "Teaching You How to Recognize the Year" for details.
5. Alcohol content Alcohol content actually contains a lot of information, such as wine grade, production area, wine style, etc. For example, in "Old World" wine production areas, wines with an alcohol content of 13.5 or higher are generally the highest quality; while "New World" wines such as the United States have very high alcohol content, and they are generally made from wines with higher maturity. Made from grapes, the fruit is usually more intense but the flavor is less prominent.
