1. If applying for registration in the name of an enterprise, it shall provide a copy of its business license and affix its official seal to it;
2. To apply for registration in the name of an individual, provide a copy of 1 personal ID card and a copy of the business license of individual industrial and commercial households, which shall be stamped with the official seal;
3. Provide trademark words or patterns, and if color protection is needed, color patterns are also needed;
4. The goods/services to be registered can be filled in according to the goods or services operated by the applicant, with reference to the ninth edition of the International Classification of Goods and Services for Trademark Registration and the similar classification table of goods and services revised by the Trademark Office according to the above international classification table;
5. Provide a power of attorney for trademark agency with official seal or signature, which can be downloaded from this website; In particular, the address in the trademark power of attorney should be exactly the same as the registered address in the business license.
Registration process
The necessary process of trademark registration includes five stages: application, formal examination, substantive examination, preliminary examination announcement and registration completion.
Stage 1: Application
After the application documents are ready to be submitted to the expired trademark office, you can get a reply on trademark acceptance within 3-5 working days.
The second stage: formal review
It takes about 3-4 months from the receipt of the application documents by the Trademark Office to the issuance of the paper acceptance notice. Received a paper acceptance notice, which proves that the application documents have passed the formal examination of the Trademark Office and entered the substantive examination stage.
Phase III: Substantive review
About 6-8 months after the notification of acceptance is issued, the substantive examination is completed, and if it passes the substantive examination, the Trademark Office will issue a preliminary examination and approval announcement for a period of three months.
The fourth stage: announcement of preliminary examination
If no objection is raised at the expiration of the preliminary examination and approval announcement, the Trademark Office will issue a registration announcement to prove that the trademark has been approved and the trademark applicant has obtained the exclusive right to use the trademark.
Stage 5: Registration
The trademark registration certificate can be obtained in about 1-2 months from the date of publication of the registration announcement.
Note: The service life of the trademark is 10 year, and there is no need to pay any fees during 10 year. The validity period of each renewal is 10 year.

Article 3: Trademarks approved for registration by the Trademark Office are registered trademarks, including commodity trademarks, service trademarks, collective trademarks and certification trademarks; Trademark registrants enjoy the exclusive right to use trademarks and are protected by law.
A collective trademark refers to a sign registered in the name of a group, association or other organization for members of the organization to use in business activities to show the membership of users in the organization.
The term "certification trademark" as mentioned in this Law refers to a mark controlled by an organization with the ability to supervise goods or services and used by units or individuals outside the organization to prove the origin, raw materials, manufacturing methods, quality or other specific qualities of the goods or services.
Special matters concerning the registration and management of collective trademarks and certification trademarks shall be stipulated by the administrative department for industry and commerce of the State Council.
