In recent years, Rongchang White Goose has developed rapidly, maintaining a population of 60,000 to 70,000 breeding geese all year round, and producing 1.1264 million commercial meat geese annually. A large number of them are sold to Chengdu and Chongqing cities and the districts and counties under their jurisdiction. Annual income is 33.5104 million yuan.

In order to meet market demand, the county has established a Rongchang white goose pure breeding base, which has raised nearly 1,000 core breeding geese, nearly 5,000 basic breeding geese, and built two gosling hatching centers with an annual hatching capacity of 1.2 million, bringing the total number of chicks hatched in the county to more than 1.4 million, providing a large number of high-quality breeding geese to provinces, cities and autonomous regions.
