The correct way to say it is: wash water mark - it is the transliteration of the Cantonese pronunciation, mark = mark: label!
The care label is a label that is usually sewn on the side of the clothes and indicates the fabric composition and washing precautions icons. High-end ready-to-wear clothing usually comes with a spare button! Some clothes will have the care mark directly attached to the trademark mark on the back of the collar!
