In addition, when choosing small, medium, or large regular scripts, you should check whether the pen barrel is straight. If it is too curved, it will be difficult to use. The method is simple, lay the pen flat on the counter and roll it sideways.

When choosing a pen, you should also look for obvious cracks. If the cracks are too deep, ink will leak onto your fingers once the ink is soaked.

The brushes we use can be divided into three categories according to the softness and hardness of the brush:

Soft brush: the main raw materials are weasel tail, free brush Hair, rat whiskers, hunting mane, horse hair, stone badger hair, etc. It is characterized by good elasticity of the pen tip, sharp and strong pen edge, which is convenient for lifting and pressing, and the written characters are strong.

Hard wool: The main raw material is wool, but chicken feathers, duck feathers or fetal hair are also used. It is characterized by a large amount of ink stored in the pen, large changes, and the written characters are plump and round.

Combination pen: It is made of soft and hard pens combined in different proportions. This kind of pen has the advantages of both hard and soft pens. It is moderately soft and hard and easy to control.

In addition, according to the length of the pen tip, it can also be divided into several types: long tip, center tip, and short tip. The Changfeng pen has endless variations and is full of fun. It can write characters as small as a walnut or as large as a bucket with one pen. However, after being dipped in ink, this kind of pen becomes as soft as a noodle. It is very difficult to control without certain skills. Therefore, it is best for beginners to use a center-point pen.

The new pen you just bought cannot be used directly by dipping it in ink. It must be opened with warm or cold water (not too hot water). Don't be in a hurry when writing the pen, don't twist or pinch it with your hands, and don't pick it with nails, awls, etc. to prevent damage to the pen tip. Some people put the pen in their mouth and hold their hair. Although it can spread the hair, it is slow and unhygienic, so don't do it. Many people believe that the amount of hair used for writing in regular letters depends on the size of the writing.
