In the middle and late 1990s, Laoshan tea developed greatly. The government formulates supporting policies, provides financial support and technical guidance, and encourages farmers to break the traditional planting structure and change grain into tea. Most farmers grow tea on their contracted land. The tea planting area increases by about 1000 mu every year. There are dozens of registered trademarks of Laoshan green tea, and the planting technology and tea-making technology are becoming more and more exquisite. Laoshan tea is becoming more and more famous, and all kinds of scented tea are gradually withdrawing from the local table. Laoshan green tea has become an irreplaceable drink. In May, 2004, the first Laoshan Tea Festival in Qingdao was successfully held, with more than 60 varieties of Laoshan Tea participating. Ten famous teas, such as Laoshan Wan Li Jiangcha and Laoshan Yunwu Tea, sell well at home and abroad, and the research on Laoshan tea culture is also in the ascendant. At present, the tea planting area in Laoshan District is 12000 mu. Laoshan tea has a history of nearly half a century since the first batch of tea tree "guests" moved to Laoshan Mountain. Nowadays, Laoshan Hakka tea has become a rising new army in China tea market, and it is an authentic "peasant household" in people's subconscious. Famous in China
