The rubber-lined valve is a control component in the pipeline fluid transportation system. It is used to change the passage section and the flow direction of the medium. It has the functions of diversion, cut-off, regulation, throttling, check, diversion or overflow. and other functions. From the simplest stop valve to various valves used in extremely complex automatic control systems, there are many varieties and specifications. The nominal diameter of the valve ranges from extremely small instrument valves to industrial pipeline valves with diameters up to 10m. So, do you know who are the manufacturers of rubber-lined valves? What are the precautions for installing and using rubber-lined valves? Don’t worry, below I recommend several good rubber-lined valve manufacturers, I hope it will be helpful to you in your purchase!
Introduction to rubber-lined valves
The main lining materials of rubber-lined valves [butyl rubber lining, natural rubber lining, EPDM rubber lining, neoprene rubber lining, nitrile rubber lining , lined with fluorine rubber, lined with silicone rubber, hard rubber, soft rubber]; suitable media for rubber lining: hydrocyanic acid, 50 except for strong oxidants (such as nitric acid, chromic acid, concentrated acid and hydrogen peroxide and organic solvents) % fluorosilicic acid, hydrochloric acid, 30% sulfuric acid, 50% hydrofluoric acid, 85% phosphoric acid, alkali, salts, metal plating solution, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, neutral brine solution, 10% sodium hypochlorite, wet chlorine gas, Ammonia, most alcohols, organic acids and aldehydes, cement, lime slurry, vegetable oil, elemental gases, ethers, ketones, esters, desalted water, purified water and other media;
Rubber lined valves Purpose
With the rapid development of modern industry, rubber-lined valves and various pipeline accessories have been rapidly applied and promoted in various fields such as petroleum, printing and dyeing, chemical industry, etc., showing strong vitality as a The first choice project in the project has attracted great attention and favor from various engineering design units and construction units. It is a rising product with great market potential.
The rubber-lined valve has dual functions of switching and flow adjustment. It can conveniently open and close the air path without affecting the flow rate, ensuring the repeatability of the flow rate. Slow start-up reduces the impact of instantaneous pipeline pressure on the instrument. A damper is added to greatly extend the service life of the needle valve. Rubber-lined valves are specially used to control corrosive or highly corrosive media. The inner surface of the valve body is covered with various rubbers to choose from. They are suitable for different operating temperatures and fluid pipelines. They have the characteristics of high strength and good corrosion resistance.
Rubber-lined valve manufacturer
Naide Hose Valve Co., Ltd. is my first personal recommendation for a rubber-lined valve manufacturer. The main reason is that they have too many corporate partners. I was shocked because the companies they cooperate with are all large and well-known manufacturers, with more than 1,000 cooperative companies in total. For example, the famous ones are: Zijin Mining, Baiyin Nonferrous Metals Group, Jiangxi Copper, Shougang Jingtang Iron and Steel, and Hebei Iron and Steel. Mining, etc. In addition, their company is also one of the country's well-known professional R&D manufacturers of hose valve series, rubber-lined valve pipeline series and new special rubber. It is these big data of their company that deeply attracted me.
The second Wuhu Hongda Rubber Valve Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is slightly inferior, but their main product types are still many. The main products they currently produce include: hydrocyclones , rubber-lined stop valves, rubber-lined gate valves, rubber-lined check valves, wear-resistant pipes, flexible rubber joints, ceramic metal processing products, etc. The variety is quite impressive.
Installation of rubber-lined valves
1. When installing, attention should be paid to checking whether the valve markings (such as valve type, nominal diameter, pressure level, material, etc.) are consistent with the usage requirements. Check whether the flow direction mark on the shell is consistent with the flow direction of the pipe.
2. When installing, try to install it horizontally with the valve stem facing upwards. Prevent the valve from being skewed so that the valve can be installed in its natural state, and prevent the valve from causing large installation stress due to pipes, supports, etc. Do not use the handwheel to lift the valve during installation and lifting.
3. During installation, if the sealing surface of the pipe flange connected to the rubber lining sealing surfaces at both ends of the valve is made of metal, a sealing gasket must be added. The flange sealing surface connected to it should follow the structure of Figure A, and do not use the structure of Figure B, otherwise it will cause premature damage and leakage of the valve sealing surface.
4. If the pipeline has sufficient strength to bear the weight and operating torque of the valve, the valve does not need to be supported. Otherwise, special support points should be provided for the rubber-lined valve.
5. After installation, the valve must be in the fully open position when performing a pressure test on the system or pipeline.
Attention must be paid when using rubber-lined valves
1. Read the product instruction manual carefully before use.
2. Use it within the pressure, temperature and operating medium range specified on the nameplate or instructions.
3. During use, prevent rubber-lined valves from excessive pipe stress due to temperature changes, minimize temperature changes, and add U-shaped expansion joints before and after the valve.
4. It is prohibited to use levers to open and close rubber-lined valves. Pay attention to the opening and closing indication position and limit device of the rubber-lined valve. After opening and closing in place, do not force the valve to close to avoid rubber sealing surfaces. Premature damage.
5. For some media that are unstable and easy to decompose (for example, the decomposition of some media will cause volume expansion and abnormal increase in operating pressure), which may cause valve damage or leakage, measures should be taken to eliminate or limit it. Factors causing decomposition of unstable media. When selecting valves, you should consider the changes in working conditions that may be caused by unstable media and easy decomposition, and choose rubber-lined valves with automatic pressure relief devices.
6. For rubber-lined valves on pipelines with toxic, flammable, explosive, and highly corrosive media, it is strictly prohibited to replace the packing under pressure. Although rubber-lined valves are designed with an upper sealing function, it is not recommended to replace the packing under pressure.
7. For pipelines with self-igniting media, measures must be taken to ensure that the ambient temperature and working temperature do not exceed the self-ignition point of the medium to prevent dangers caused by sunlight or external fires.
8. Measures should be taken to eliminate severe and long-term vibrations in pipelines to avoid damage to rubber-lined valves.
9. During the use of rubber-lined valves, the rubber sealing surface is often damaged by medium crystallization and solid particles due to its soft texture, resulting in seal leakage. Repair or replace the seal in time after discovery. .
10. Some rubber-lined valves are partially opened during use to adjust the flow. The high-speed medium causes premature damage to the sealing surface. In this case, the seal must be replaced in time.
11. Gaskets are generally not added to the flange of rubber-lined valves. If you encounter leakage at the middle flange, tighten the middle flange nuts evenly to eliminate leakage. If the sealing surface of the middle flange is damaged, the sealing surface must be repaired and a middle flange gasket must be added.
12. If the handle or handwheel is not flexible or cannot open and close the rubber-lined valve, loosen the gland nut appropriately. Still not flexible in rotation. It may be that the gland is skewed and needs to be adjusted. After adjusting and loosening the gland, the fluorine-lined valve cannot be opened and closed flexibly. It should be disassembled and inspected to remove dirt and troubleshoot. When disassembling this type of rubber-lined valve, you should pay attention to the medium in the pipeline of the rubber-lined valve, whether it is used or newly installed. If the medium used is toxic, flammable, or explosive substances, workers should wear protective masks and rubber gloves, wear protective clothing, and operate in accordance with operating procedures. Avoid accidents during disassembly and prevent accidents.
