OEM issues about monitors

We know that AOC is the main OEM manufacturer for Philips.

TPV Technology (TPV)

It can be said to be the OEM giant in the display industry. In December 2005, it acquired Philips' PC monitor manufacturing business and officially became the "world's largest monitor manufacturer." AOC and TOPVIEW are both its own brands, so it goes without saying how strong it is.

Major OEM customers include: IBM, HP, Lenovo, Founder, TCL, Qixi, Inspur, Tongchuang, Haier, TARGA, MAYA, etc.

Pou-Chan Group

The fourth largest manufacturing group in Taiwan, it is also the largest shoe-making company in the world (including world-renowned brands such as NIKE, addidas, PUMA, and Reebok). Baocheng cooperated with Elite Technology and began to officially participate in the R&D and manufacturing of IT products and LCD monitors. A few years ago, the wholly-owned acquisition of NESO (Xinteri) and the integration of Haier Computers also demonstrated the strength of the company.

Main customers include: Motorola, EPSON, Sanyo, ViewSonic, Dreamer, MAYA, EMPREX, Patriot, Haier, etc.

Delta Electronics

Delta Electronics Group is the world's largest switching power supply supplier and a world-class supplier of electronic components. Widely used in various industries.

Major customers include: Hewlett Packard, Fujitsu, Gateway, ViewSonic, Founder, TCL, HP, etc.

The above three are relatively representative and powerful OEM manufacturers, and there are others that I won’t go into details.

1. Dreamer, Big Buffalo, TARGA, MAYA, TCL: OEM by TPV Group (TPV)

2. Meiqi, Qixi, Founder, Meige, Digital China : OEM by EMC

5. Neso ( Xintele), Patriot: OEM by Dongguan Jingcheng Electronics (subsidiary of Baocheng Group)

10. TCL display foundries: TPV, Delta, Proview, Rainbow Emperor Flag, etc. In addition, we are also producing on a small scale.

If a brand of monitors is manufactured by many factories, on the other hand, monitor manufacturers also have many brand customers.

This is another The information is the same.

LCD monitor =====

LCD monitor with a contrast ratio of 400:1 -----generally produced by companies such as Hitachi and Fujitsu in Japan

LCD monitors with a contrast ratio of 350:1 are mainly produced by Samsung of South Korea and NEC of Japan.

COMPAQ's LCD is made by Mita

TCL, Haier's monitor---part of it is Delta OEM

Asus' monitor---is Philips, CTX OEM

BENQ----should be called BenQ, and ACER is called Acer. In the past, many things that ACER could not produce were produced for BenQ, so ACER's trademark was also used in the past. Now the time is ripe, so BenQ uses its own trademark BENQ instead of ACER, and saves a lot of trademark licensing fees! Some of Dell's LCD monitors are also made by BenQ. The Xinyu series of MOTO mobile phones are made by BenQ, and the T189 is made by Bit.

BENQ’s LCDs are supplied to OEMs by AU Optronics

NESO---is made sincerely in Dongguan,

CTX-----is a strong manufacturer in Thailand

Phlips-----'s CRT is basically sourced and processed by itself, and the LCD is jointly manufactured by LG and phlips

The only remaining manufacturers of CRT monitors are Samsung and Huaguan (U.S.) grid), Hengguan (EMC), AOC, LG, Great Wall (synonymous with junk goods), BenQ (the cost cannot be supported), Jingcheng, Yuanxing. Other manufacturers are basically going to collapse. Xoceco is expected to be over in March next year, TCL Ace will be over within the next three months, Delta will shut down its monitor production line soon, and so on.

There are many other brands of monitors on the market. Except for the brands I listed above, you can basically ignore them, such as Dreamer, Big Buffalo, NESO, etc. These brands are still there today and may not be where they are tomorrow. AOC does OEM for many major manufacturers, but there are still differences in quality. It seems that the best quality is for international major manufacturers such as IBM and HP, the lower quality is for Lenovo, Founder, etc., and then it is its own brand, from best to worst. They are AOC, Enivension (it seems to be spelled like this), TopView, etc., and there are even no labels. It will be very cheap to buy some low-end monitors from the factory. For example, a 17-inch flat screen may only cost 600 yuan.
