How to choose composite floor? What's the trick?
Selection skills of composite floor;

Formaldehyde content

This is a key index related to whether the products we choose are harmful to our health, but it is easy to be ignored by consumers. According to the European standard, the formaldehyde content of each 100g floor shall not exceed 9 mg, and if it exceeds 9 mg, it is an unqualified product.

Floor thickness

At present, the floor thickness on the market is generally 6 ~ 12 mm, so it is better to choose a thicker floor. The thicker the thickness, the longer the service life, but at the same time, we should also consider the actual needs of the family.

Assembly effect

You can assemble two floor samples to see if they are neat and tight after assembly.

Floor weight

The weight of the floor mainly depends on the density of its substrate. The substrate determines the stability and impact resistance of the floor, so the better the substrate, the higher the density and the heavier the floor.

Official certificate and inspection report

When consumers choose the floor, they must find out whether the merchants have relevant certificates and quality inspection reports. Relevant certificates generally include the floor certificate of origin, European Composite Flooring Association (EPLF) certificate, ISO900 1 international quality certificate, ISO 1400 1 international environmental protection certificate and other relevant quality certificates.

Environmental protection performance

Consumers are generally concerned about the environmental performance of floors. When choosing a floor, the first consideration should be the environmental protection of the product, followed by other performance and price of the product. You can confirm whether the floor is an environmentally friendly product by checking whether there are relevant green certificates.

after service

Laminated flooring generally requires professional installers to install it with special tools, so consumers must ask whether the merchants have a professional installation team and can provide formal warranty certificates and warranty cards.

Wear-resistant revolution

This is an important index to measure the quality of composite floor. Objectively speaking, the higher the wear-resistant revolution, the longer the service life of the floor should be, but the wear-resistant value is not the only criterion to measure the service life of the floor. In general, the wear-resistant revolution of composite floor reaches 10000, which is transformed into excellent products. The products below 10000 rpm may be worn to varying degrees after using 1 ~ 3 years.

Expansion rate after water absorption

Only when this index is less than 3% can it be considered qualified, otherwise the floor will be deformed under wet conditions, or the humidity is relatively high and the surrounding seal is not tight, which will affect the normal use.

Maintenance of composite floor:

1. It is forbidden to place strongly acidic and alkaline substances on the floor.

2. Protect the floor from strong and lasting sunlight, so as to prevent the paint from aging and cracking in advance under long-term ultraviolet radiation. Avoid direct blowing of hot and cold air from household appliances to bake the floor;

3. Prevent hard objects such as heavy metal sharp tools, glass bricks and spikes from scratching the floor; When moving furniture, don't push and pull directly on the floor, but lift it and move it gently. Furniture that moves frequently can be glued with a layer of rubber at the bottom.

4, local wood accidentally stained with stains should be removed in time, if there is any oil stains can be used automatic dishcloth or mop dipped in warm water and a small amount of washing powder to scrub; In the case of drugs or pigments, stains must be removed before dissolving on the wood surface.

5. Keep the floor dry and clean, and wipe it with a soft wet towel. In the dry areas in the north, you can wipe the floor with a wet cloth during the dry season. In places with humid climate in the south, it is not advisable to wipe the floor with a wet mop or directly clean it with water.

6. In order to maintain the beauty of the solid wood composite floor and prolong the service life of the paint surface, wax it once every one or two months, wipe off the stains before waxing, then evenly coat the surface with a layer of floor wax, and wipe it with a soft cloth after drying it slightly until it is smooth and bright.

7. The cleaning method of special stains is: oil stains, paints and inks can be wiped with special stain-removing oil; If it is residual stains such as juice, red wine, beer, etc., it can be wiped with a wet rag or a rag dipped with a proper amount of detergent; Don't clean the floor with strong acid and alkali liquid.

8. Prevent rainwater from soaking the floor, prevent the balcony, bathroom, kitchen and other places from overflowing, and turn off the faucet when traveling or stopping water; Especially don't touch hot water. Therefore, the hot water in the heating pipe must not leak to the floor. Once it happens, it should be dried in time.

9. If the outdoor humidity is greater than the indoor humidity, you can close the doors and windows to keep the indoor humidity low. If the outdoor humidity is less than the indoor humidity, you can open the doors and windows to reduce the indoor humidity. In humid and sultry weather, you can turn on the air conditioner or electric fan. In order to increase the indoor air humidity in autumn and winter, a humidifier can be used to keep the indoor air humidity at 50%-70%.

10. After the floor is paved, you should move in within two weeks. If you stay in a room for a long time or infrequently, you should put a few pots of water indoors and keep the amount of water, or use a humidifier to make up for the evaporation of water due to the opening of indoor heating; Ventilation should be strengthened in the rainy season in the south; The indoor environment should not be too dry or too wet to prevent the wooden floor from cracking, shrinking or expanding.
