Introduction
Reflective film is a PVC film with a special structure that uses optical principles to retroreflect light back to the light source. It is composed of a film layer with good weather resistance, a layer of tiny glass beads, a focusing layer, a reflective layer, an adhesive layer and a peeling layer.
The main quality identification points of reflective film: film material, reflective coefficient of glass beads, bead distribution rate, dead bead rate, color uniformity, weather resistance, adhesive layer viscosity, etc.
The grades of reflective film are divided into: diamond grade, high-strength grade, engineering grade, economic grade, license plate grade, maritime grade, and super-strength grade.
Reflective films are mainly used for guide signs and signs on various roads and railways, mine and airport safety signs, stage scenery, trademarks, place name plates, license plates, etc.
Engineering-grade reflective film
The performance of this series of reflective films belongs to the fourth-level reflective film standard JT-T279-1995 issued by the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China and the State. A durable, enclosed reflective film. The material has been used successfully to create traffic signs since the early 1950s. In areas with low traffic flow and low-speed motor vehicles, engineering-grade reflective films still have certain applications.
Engineering-grade reflective film is suitable for traffic signs on general roads, that is, usual first-class, second-class, third-class, fourth-class roads and temporary signs.
Lifespan: Generally 3 to 7 years, depending on the manufacturer. Some manufacturers only provide reflective films for 7 years, and the brightness retention value after 7 years is at least 50% of the initial brightness value. Some manufacturers provide 3-year, 5-year, and 7-year reflective films.
Applicable bottom plate: aluminum plate, steel plate.
Operating temperature: Generally required to be between 18℃ and 28℃.
High-strength reflective film
The performance of this series of reflective films belongs to the third-level reflective film standard JT-T279-1995 issued by the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China, high-strength grade Reflective film is a durable, sealed reflective film that is at least three times brighter than engineering-grade reflective film. The material has been used successfully to create traffic signs. Even if the sign is at a large angle or in a bright area, the high-strength reflective film makes the sign clearly visible, effectively warning the driver of dangerous road conditions ahead.
High-strength reflective film is suitable for general road traffic signs, that is, usual highways, first-class, second-class, third-class, fourth-class roads and temporary signs.
Lifespan: Generally 10 years. Under normal use conditions, the brightness retention value of this series of reflective films after 10 years is at least 80% of the initial brightness value.
Applicable bottom plate: aluminum plate, steel plate.
Operating temperature: Generally required to be between 18℃ and 28℃.
Diamond grade reflective film
The performance of this series of reflective films belongs to the first and second level reflective films of the JT-T279-1995 standard issued by the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China and the People's Republic of China , its reflective principle is different from the glass bead reflective principle used in engineering-grade and high-strength reflective films, but uses the latest technology of microcrystalline cube reflection.
After each microcrystalline cube of the diamond-grade reflective film is connected and arranged, there will be more than 930 microcrystalline cubes in one square centimeter of material area. The lower layer of the microcrystalline cube corner is sealed to form an air layer, which allows the incident light to form total internal reflection, thereby achieving the best reflective effect without the need for a metal reflective layer. Compared with traditional engineering-grade and high-strength grade reflective films, the diamond-grade reflective film made of wear-resistant and high-hardness polycarbonate material and microcrystalline cube technology has not only doubled its reflective performance, but also has greatly improved wide-angle performance. improve. The brightness of diamond-grade reflective film is more than six times that of engineering grade and more than three times that of high-strength grade.
Traffic signs suitable for high-grade highways and urban roads. Under normal use conditions, the brightness retention value after 10 years is at least 50% of the initial brightness value. Various patterns can be produced using screen printing technology using the same type of ink.
Lifespan: Generally 10 years. Under normal use conditions, the brightness retention value of this series of reflective films after 10 years is at least 50% of the initial brightness value.
Applicable bottom plate: aluminum plate, steel plate.
Operating temperature: Generally required to be between 18℃ and 28℃.
