Common compressor brands on the market are:
1. Embraco
Embraco is a compressor manufacturer from Brazil. Most domestic refrigerators use compressors manufactured by Beijing Embraco Snow Compressor Co., Ltd., its joint venture in China.
2. Zanussi
Zanusi compressor is an original Italian brand that was acquired by Electrolux. Zanussi compressors for domestic refrigerators are produced by Zanussi Electrical Machinery Tianjin Compressor Co., Ltd.
3. Panasonic compressor
Panasonic has great strength in compressors. Currently, the most common ones in China are refrigerator compressors produced by Wuxi Panasonic or Singapore Panasonic. Generally, Panasonic refrigerators that do not indicate that they are imported compressors are all Wuxi Panasonic products.
4. Jiaxi Bella
Jiaxi Bella is a domestic compressor brand. The company was founded in 1988 and is located in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province.
5. Highly
Highly is headquartered in Shanghai. It acquired Qingdao Sanyo Electric Company in 2007 and later changed its name to Qingdao Highly Electric Company. It mainly produces refrigerator compressors.
6. LG
Most of LG's compressors are produced in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province and are of independent technology. The compressors they produce are mainly used in LG refrigerators, and a few are supplied to domestic manufacturers.
7. Toshiba
Refrigerator products sold in China are rarely used, mainly Japanese brand refrigerators, and there are also a few domestic brands in use. The compressors they produce all use frequency conversion technology, mainly Made in Japan.
8. Hitachi
Hitachi’s compressor technology is relatively strong, but it is relatively rare in the domestic market.
The compressor is a driven fluid machine that elevates low-pressure gas to high-pressure gas. It is the heart of the refrigeration system. It sucks in low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant gas from the suction pipe, drives the piston to compress it through the operation of the motor, and discharges the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant gas to the exhaust pipe to provide power for the refrigeration cycle.
This achieves a refrigeration cycle of compression → condensation (heat release) → expansion → evaporation (heat absorption). Compressors are divided into piston compressors, screw compressors, centrifugal compressors, linear compressors, etc. The entry introduces the working principle, classification, accessories, specifications, operation requirements, compressor production, common faults and environmental protection requirements, selection principles, installation conditions and development trends of the compressor.
