Qixia Apple is well-known in China for its six "Number Ones" in "cultivation area, comprehensive services, orchard management, variety technicians, total production per unit area, and corporate efficiency", and was awarded the "Apple of the Year" by the National Specialty Horticulture Society. It has the title of "Township" and was named "China's No. 1 Fruit City (County)" by the National Bureau of Statistics.
At fruit evaluation meetings held nationwide and in Shandong Province, Qixia apples won the "Green Food Certificate" issued by the Ministry of Agriculture. Qixia apples were named "Chinese Famous Fruit" by the Ministry of Agriculture and the China Circulation Association. .
On December 14, 2009, the "Qixia Apple" geographical indication certification trademark applied by the Qixia Apple Industry Information and Technology Association passed the review of the Trademark Office, and "Qixia Apple" became a geographical indication product.
