The team history of PSV Eindhoven

Eindhoven Football Club was founded on August 31, 1913. At first "PSV" was just the abbreviation of "Philips Sports Vereniging" in Dutch. Today, the three letters "PSV" are one of the most important trademarks in European sports. With the club's highly professional management and outstanding record in domestic and European competitions, PSV Eindhoven has occupied a place in the world's top football league G14. Together with other European super giants including Manchester United in England and Real Madrid in Spain, she has created the most gorgeous picture in football.

As the backbone of European football, especially Dutch football, it has been as small as the unprofessional domestic football league champion in 1929, and as large as 1988 when it reached the top of European football - the European Champions Cup. PSV Eindhoven has created numerous honors for the small town of Eindhoven and the country of windmills (another name for the Netherlands) over the past ninety years. For nearly a century, the Philips Stadium has witnessed all the ups and downs of PSV Eindhoven. After many vicissitudes, this majestic stadium that still stands on the northwest side of Eindhoven city center has accompanied PSV Eindhoven through more than 90 years of ups and downs.
