Trademark rejection is because the trademark does not comply with the principle of first application or first registration and the registration is refused; but because the trademark application documents submitted by the applicant Otherwise, the application will not be accepted if it violates the prohibition of registration.

2. The stages and objects of review are different

The trademark rejection is still in the previous stage. The Trademark Review and Adjudication Board will search and compare the trademarks themselves and will not focus on the materials.

3. Different remedial measures

When submitting a trademark registration application and the materials are normal, a "Trademark Acceptance Notice" will be issued. If correction is required, a "Trademark Correction Notice" will be issued. If the application is not accepted, a notice of trademark rejection will be issued directly. At this time, operations and remedies are no longer possible, and the trademark registration application can only be resubmitted in accordance with relevant regulations and requirements; if the trademark is rejected, the Trademark Office will issue a "Notice of Trademark Rejection". If the trademark applicant still wants to continue the application and there is a chance of success in the rejection review, he needs to submit relevant application materials for trademark rejection review within 15 days from the date of receipt of the notice. After the review is successful, the trademark registration application process will continue.
