1. "The Lover"

Recommended ☆☆☆☆

Reason: Wang Xiaobo's favorite novel is the classic novel written by Duras one. When I read it, the third person, first person, and second person were interchanged, making me wonder who was writing about it. After I calmed down and read it, I realized it was the same person. Duras's writing style is very different, and you can feel it from her book.

Douban introduction: One of Duras's masterpieces, an autobiographical novel that won the French Prix Goncourt for Literature in 1984. The book is based on the life of French colonists in Vietnam and describes the deep and hopeless love between a poor French girl and a rich Chinese young master.

2. "Norwegian Wood"

Recommended ☆☆☆☆

Reason: Murakami Haruki's classic work, you will feel very depressed when watching it, revealed Out of Murakami's loneliness.

Douban introduction: This is a touching, gentle and elegant, slightly sentimental love novel. The protagonist Watanabe of the novel unfolds his love entanglement with two girls in the first person. Watanabe's first love, Naoko, was originally the girlfriend of his high school classmate Kizuki, who later committed suicide. A year later, Watanabe and Naoko met by chance and started dating. At this time, Naoko had become quiet and shy, with an elusive shadow flashing through her beautiful crystal eyes from time to time. The two of them just walked aimlessly in front of, behind or side by side in the fallen leaves of Tokyo streets day after day. The two had sex on the night of Naoko's 20th birthday. Unexpectedly, Naoko disappeared the next day. A few months later, Naoko wrote to say that she was admitted to a mental sanatorium far away in the mountains. When Watanabe went to visit, he found that Naoko began to have the plumpness and beauty of a mature woman. Although the two were in the same room at night, Watanabe restrained himself and said before breaking up that he would always wait for Naoko. Not long after returning to school, due to a chance encounter, Watanabe began to date Midori, who was in the lower grade. Midori is the complete opposite of the introverted Naoko, almost like a deer jumping into the world in the spring morning light. During this period, Watanabe felt very depressed and hesitant. On the one hand, I can't forget Naoko's lingering illness and tenderness, on the other hand, I can't resist Midoriko's bold confession and charming vitality. Soon the bad news came that Naoko had committed suicide, and Watanabe walked around in despair. Finally, with the encouragement of Naoko's roommate Reiko, she began to explore her future life.

A woman, a man who is afraid to go home and constantly looking for his own world, a girl who hides her love for her girlfriend and boyfriend deeply in her heart, a man who will never forget his love affair with his first love, a North Korean comfort woman, gender, age and values A different family got on a small boat called "Jia" and floated together into the ocean of time and space.

5. "The Colonel Who No One Wrote Letters to"

Recommended☆☆☆☆

Reason: The story is plain but with great power. You can guess the story from the beginning to the end, but a book written by Marquez cannot be dull. Between the lines, you can feel the colonel's despair, which spreads to the end.

Pay attention to the foreshadowing in every word, every sentence, and the conversation between Marquez and his wife.

6. "Kafka on the Shore"

Recommended ☆☆☆☆

Reason: Haruki Murakami's book. The story is bizarre and tells the story of a fifteen-year-old boy who ran away from home.

Douban introduction: The protagonist of the novel is a young man who claims to be Tamura Kafka. The author has never revealed his real name. He ran away from home alone on the eve of his fifteenth birthday and took a long-distance night bus to Shikoku. The reason for running away was to escape the prophecy made by his father that was even more terrifying than King Oedipus: You will kill your father and have sex with your mother and sister. When Kafka was four years old, his mother suddenly disappeared and took away his sister, who was four years older than Kafka and was actually the adopted daughter of the Tamura family. For some reason, she abandoned her biological son. He had never seen a picture of his mother and didn't even know her name. As if guided by fate, he accidentally came to a private library and took up residence there. The curator, Ms. Saeki, is an elegant and beautiful woman in her forties with a mysterious life experience with twists and turns. Kafka suspected that she was his biological mother, but Saeki refused to comment. Kafka fell in love with Saeki and had a physical relationship with him. The novel also has another sub-line. The protagonist of the sub-line is the old man Nakata. When he was in elementary school during World War II, he experienced a mysterious coma and lost his memory. He completely forgot all the knowledge he had learned and could not even read. Counting, but gained the mysterious ability to talk to cats. When Nakata lost control of his mind, he killed a madman who called himself Johnny Walker and dressed up like the British gentleman painted on the famous whiskey label. He also hitched a ride here. The novel is divided into 49 chapters. The odd-numbered chapters basically use realistic techniques to tell Kafka's story, while the even-numbered chapters use magical techniques to show Nakata's adventures. The two techniques are used interchangeably to weave a modern fable with strong fictional color, fantasy and treachery. Saeki is the connecting point that connects the two stories into one, and the prophecy of patricide seems to have not been avoided in the end, because the madman Joni Voka turned out to be Kafka's biological father in disguise, and the real murderer was not Nakata? )

7. "Sleep"

Recommended☆☆☆

Reason: Murakami's books generally tell why a woman suffers from insomnia. It reflects the pressure that modern people encounter and endure.

8. "The Unbearable Lightness of Being"

Recommended ☆☆☆☆

Reason: Milan Kundera's I plan to re-watch it. Because I watched it during my internship during the summer vacation of my freshman year, I finished it hastily. The understanding of the importance of what is said can be seen from other people's comments on this book. Kundera's book "Celebrating the Meaningless" has a rating of 7-8 on Douban. If you have money, buy it again. A novel written by Kundera, this book is his masterpiece. All the philosophical thoughts in it are profound. You need to calm down to read this book ~ I will say impetuous. After reading this book =_=

Douban introduction: One of Milan Kundera's most famous works. The novel describes the emotional life between Thomas, Teresa and Salina. However, it is by no means a love triangle story between a man and two women. It is a philosophical novel. The novel starts from the discussion of "eternal reincarnation" and brings us into thinking about a series of issues, such as lightness and Heaviness, for example, spirit and body, it leads us to think? What is the lightness of life that human beings cannot bear? It has far-reaching implications. Reading it, you can understand the power of wisdom, but it is never boring.

9. "White Night Walk"

Recommended ☆☆☆☆

Reason: Keigo Higashino's novel (There is no sun in my sky, it is always dark, But it is not dark, because there is something that replaces the sun. Although it is not as bright as the sun, it is enough for me. I can treat the night as the sun, so I am not afraid of losing it. I found a dream in Bai Ye Xing. Maybe you will laugh at me. I want to use my wisdom to travel around the world and make a lot of money. For example, I want to use this money for you to enjoy. What Scarlett Hao did, prepared the carriage for her escape. I want to give you a big gem, and then I want to give you an eternally peaceful night and an inspiring morning.

That unfair person didn't give you something, no matter what it is, I will give it to you. This is my dream? (White Night Walk) Two people cling to each other under the dark night. Without spoiling anything, this is a very good book.

10. "The Devotion of Suspect Loving someone can lay the groundwork for her one after another and even sacrifice oneself. (If you are not happy, everything I do will be in vain.)

ps: The movie is not as good as the book, and Jingzi and her daughter were changed into aunt and niece

11. "Jieyou Grocery Store"

< p> Recommended☆☆☆☆

Reason: Keigo Higashino’s warmth is reflected in this book. Replies from the past and letters from the future.

Douban Introduction: Can this grocery store help you find the things that modern people have lost in their hearts? There is a grocery store next to a secluded street. Just write down your worries and put them in the mail slot of the rolling shutter door, and the next day The answer will be found in the milk crate at the back of the store. < p> Recommendation ☆☆☆☆☆

Reason: Maugham’s book is the most recommended book for literary and artistic youth. Everyone sees Hamlet and has his or her own inner Hamlet. However, when reading this book, you will feel a little disgusted with this painter, but at the end you will be moved by him. There has always been one desire in your heart that makes you not interested in anything in the world. You just want to do that. I admire the protagonist very much.

Douban introduction: The plot of "The Moon and Sixpence" is not complicated. It tells the story of a broker from the British Stock Exchange. He already has a solid career and status, and a happy family, but he is obsessed with it. When he started painting, he seemed to be possessed by the devil. He suddenly abandoned his home and ran away to Paris to pursue his ideal of painting. No one could understand his behavior. In a foreign country, he not only suffered physically from poverty and hunger, but also endured mental pain in search of expression techniques. After some bizarre encounters, the protagonist finally leaves the civilized world and escapes to the isolated island of Tahiti. He finally found peace of soul and an atmosphere suitable for his artistic temperament. He lived with an indigenous woman and created one masterpiece after another that shocked later generations. Before he contracted leprosy and became blind, he painted a great work depicting the Garden of Eden on the fourth wall of his house. But before his death, he ordered the indigenous woman to burn the painting after his death. Through such a geek who pursues art wholeheartedly and has no understanding of human nature, Maugham explores the origin and essence of art, the relationship between personality and genius, the contradiction between artists and society, and other thought-provoking issues. At the same time, this book also arouses people's thinking on the topic of breaking away from the shackles of the world and escaping from the secular society to find a spiritual home. The description of the natural folk customs of the South Pacific island is also fascinating.
