Guizhou Xijiu Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xijiu Company"), formerly known as Yin and Luo Breweries founded in Ming and Qing Dynasties, was established as a state-owned enterprise through acquisition in 1952, and merged into Maotai Group in 1998. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Maotai Group and a famous liquor enterprise in China.

In 2022, "Guizhou Maotai Distillery (Group) Xijiu Co., Ltd." was restructured into "Guizhou Xijiu Co., Ltd." The factory is located in the middle reaches of Chishui River in the northern Guizhou Plateau, at Erlangtan Ferry, the Red Army's "Four Crossing Chishui" in the Long March. Surrounded by mountains and waters, it stretches for ten miles Known as "Shili Wine City".

The headquarters of Kweichow Moutai Distillery Group is located in Maotai Town on the Chishui River in northern Guizhou Province. Located at east longitude 106 22', north latitude 27 5 1', with an altitude of 423 meters, it now covers an area of 2.2 million square meters.

Kweichow Moutai Winery Group consists of nearly 20 enterprises including China Kweichow Moutai Winery Co., Ltd. and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, holding companies and shareholding companies. Its industrial fields include liquor, beer, wine, securities, banking, insurance, real estate and scientific research.

China Kweichow Moutai Distillery Co., Ltd., formerly known as China Kweichow Moutai Distillery, was successfully transformed into a limited liability company (hereinafter referred to as the group company) on 1999, and Guizhou Maotai Liquor Co., Ltd., initiated by the limited liability company and China Food Fermentation Science Research Institute, was formally established. In August of 200 1 year, Kweichow Moutai was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
