Hainan Yatai Brewing Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Hainan Beer Co., Ltd. and Singapore Yatai Brewing (Group) Company/Heineken Group of the Netherlands. Its annual output of130,000 tons brewery (Phase I) is a key industrial project in Haikou City, Hainan Province. The plot is located in the "Food and Beverage Industry City" in Jinpan Industrial Development Zone, Haikou City, covering an area of 346 mu. The investment in the first phase of the project is US$ 76 million, of which 20% is Chinese and 80% is foreign, all of which are cash investments. The final production scale of the project is 350,000 tons of beer per year.

The project adopts the world's leading modern technical equipment and process production line, and the production equipment is imported from abroad; The advanced beer production technology of the world-famous Heineken Group in the Netherlands is adopted, and the trademark rights of asia pacific breweries, Anchor Beer and Heineken Beer of Singapore Asia Pacific Brewing Co., Ltd. are introduced to produce high-quality beer of Tiger brand, Anchor brand and Heineken brand, develop new beer brands, and build a modern beer enterprise with high starting point, scale benefit and world leading.

The project was designed by Heineken Technical Service Company of the Netherlands, with the participation of China Guangzhou Light Industry Design and Research Institute. Civil works are generally contracted by Leighton Australia, and Sinochem Sanjian participates in the construction. Project supervision is implemented by Thailand CDW supervision company. At present, the project has completed an investment of 76 million US dollars, and has now entered the trial production stage. /kloc-0 was completed and put into production in February, 1997, and the products were put on the market in early March of the same year.

This project means that the world-famous beer (group) company and the powerful beer joint-stock company in China join hands. A modern "garden-style" brewery with high standard, large scale, high grade and high efficiency was born in Hainan, the largest special economic zone in China.
