"Yangzhou Municipal The People's Government's Decision on Publishing the Results of the Cleanup of Normative Documents was discussed and adopted at the 6th executive meeting of the municipal government on June 1, 2017, and is now announced.

Decision of the Yangzhou Municipal People’s Government on publishing the results of the review of normative documents

In order to better adapt to the requirements of comprehensively promoting administration according to law and building a government governed by the rule of law, in accordance with the provisions of the "Decision of the State Council on Strengthening Administration by Law of Municipal and County Governments" (Guofa [2008] No. 17) on regular review of normative documents, The municipal government conducted a comprehensive review of the normative documents issued before December 31, 2016. After review, it was decided to retain 67 documents, modify 47 documents, and abolish 31 documents. For normative documents included in the revised catalog, provisions that conflict with higher-level laws shall not be applied. Relevant departments should promptly initiate the revision of normative documents and report them to the municipal government for review before re-announcement.
