hongta mountain is located in Yuxi city, central Yunnan province. The little-known ancient pagoda in the Yuan Dynasty on the mountain is world-famous because it is used as a cigarette label by Yuxi Cigarette Factory in Yunnan, and Hongta Mountain has long enjoyed a high reputation. Culture dates back to the Yuan Dynasty. The word "Hongtashan" comes from the Hongta on a hill in the east of Yuxi City. It was built in the Yuan Dynasty and originated from the hope of geomantic omen and exorcism. For more than 6 years, people have used this to seek peace and pray for happiness. Fifty years ago, Yuxi cigarette factory was founded at the foot of the mountain, and "Hongtashan" became famous all over the world. Honor comes from "the hometown of clouds and cigarettes". Good brands need good raw materials. In 1953, New China held a national conference on flue-cured tobacco in Xuchang, Henan Province, which was attended by internationally renowned tobacco experts. At the conference, the quality of flue-cured tobacco in all parts of the country was evaluated. Yuxi roasted leaves were 8 points higher than the world-famous "Yuyan", reaching the highest score of 18 points, and won the crown of flue-cured tobacco in China. A milestone was set up in the history of Yunnan tobacco. Since then, Yuxi Tobacco has become famous, and the reputation of "the hometown of clouds and smoke" has been obtained. In 1957, Yuxi tobacco redrying plant was completed and put into operation. In 1959, "Hongtashan" brand cigarette came into being.
