Cangzhou City is located on the bank of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It is an ancient city with a long history of wine making. And taking advantage of the canal to sell goods from the south to the north, it was a grand occasion.

Cangzhou ancient wine, also known as Magu wine, is fermented and brewed from high-quality sorghum and water from the center of the canal. It has excellent color, aroma and taste. According to the "Notes of Yuewei Thatched Cottage" written by Ji Xiaolan, a famous scholar from the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Qianlong took a boat south through the canal.
