What qualifications does the trademark agency business need?
Trademark agency business needs to be filed with the Trademark Office. According to the relevant laws and regulations, if a trademark agency engages in the trademark agency business under the charge of the Trademark Office and the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board, it shall apply to the local trademark office for filing according to law.

Article 84 of the Regulations on the Implementation of the Trademark Law of People's Republic of China (PRC)

Trademark agencies mentioned in the Trademark Law include service agencies engaged in trademark agency business registered by the administrative department for industry and commerce and law firms engaged in trademark agency business.

Where a trademark agency engages in the trademark agency business under the charge of the Trademark Office and the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board, it shall file with the Trademark Office in accordance with the following provisions:

(1) Submit the registration certificate of the administrative department for industry and commerce or the certificate that the judicial administrative department has approved the establishment of a law firm and keep a copy;

(2) Submit basic information such as the name, domicile, person in charge and contact information of the trademark agency;

(3) Submit a list of trademark agency practitioners and their contact information.

The administrative department for industry and commerce shall establish the credit files of trademark agencies. Where a trademark agency violates the provisions of the Trademark Law or these Regulations, it shall be announced by the Trademark Office or the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board and recorded in its credit file.
