Common trademark change procedures include "address change" and "name change". There are two ways to handle trademark change procedures. One is to entrust a trademark agency to declare online, and all information will be provided in electronic files. It can be quickly submitted to the Trademark Office through the trademark online reporting system; the other is for the applicant to fill in and print the trademark change paper document himself, and submit the paper document to the Trademark Office acceptance window.
Trademark change fee: The official fee for each category is RMB 250
Trademark change time: 3-6 months
1. Address change required Materials
Address change is a very important issue in trademark management but is often ignored by trademark owners. After successful trademark registration, the Trademark Office will no longer pass the original application for trademark matters such as withdrawal and invalidation. Instead of using a trademark agency, the company mails the documents directly to the original registered address of the trademark by registered postal mail. If the company cannot receive the registered mail from the Trademark Office, it may lose the opportunity to respond and lose the trademark rights.
