The fund projects undertaken as the project leader include:

5 national funds, including: National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (71025002); General Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China (70772085); Youth Fund of National Natural Science Foundation of China (70202006, after 2007, it was evaluated as "excellent, and the introduction of achievements was included in the 2007 annual report fund tour of National Natural Science Foundation of China); 2009 National Natural Science Foundation -JSPS Agreement Project; National Social Science Fund in 2003-2005. There are 6 other provincial and ministerial-level projects, including major social development projects in Liaoning Province, late-stage funded projects of philosophy and social science research of the Ministry of Education, research start-up fund for returned overseas students of the Ministry of Education, natural science fund of Liaoning Province, doctoral start-up fund of Liaoning Province and social science planning fund of Liaoning Province. There are four international cooperation projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, which are used to invite experts from the United States and Canada to come to China for cooperative research and to go to Germany for academic exchanges.
