At present, China is implementing a variety of anti-leprosy drugs recommended by the World Health Organization to treat leprosy, that is, the combined chemotherapy program, which has achieved remarkable results. The commonly used drugs are dapsone and rifampicin. After the diagnosis of leprosy, it is necessary to isolate the patients first, because leprosy is a contact infectious disease. Secondly, early use of drugs, adequate course of drugs, through active treatment, leprosy can be cured. At present, dapsone, rifampicin, rifampicin and chlorphenazine are the main drugs for the treatment of leprosy, and the combination of two or more drugs is advocated, and the curative effect is better. Leprosy with less bacteria can be cured by taking medicine for more than half a year, and leprosy with more bacteria needs taking medicine for more than two years. At present, leprosy can be cured after formal and active treatment, and will not leave sequelae. If the treatment is delayed prematurely, deformity may occur. At this time, physical therapy, acupuncture and corrective surgery are needed.
