The methods for removing the label adhesive on the tableware are:
1. Use a hair dryer to blow for a while. After the adhesive strip is heated, gently peel it off. Leave a little trace.
2. You can rub this area repeatedly with an eraser, and blow away the erased foam while rubbing. Gradually, you will find that the sticky sticker has disappeared along with the rubber foam.
3. Place the bottle from which the label is to be removed in a hot water basin, so that the water does not cover the label, and let it sit for 20 minutes. Then you will find that the label can be removed by soaking it in hot water and gently wiping it. It's clean.
Extended information
The earliest adhesives came from animals and plants. In the 19th century, rubber was the main component of adhesives; in modern times, various polymers are widely used. Adhesives can stick to things because they form bonds between their own molecules and the molecules of the object to be connected. This bond can firmly stick the molecules together. The main materials are natural (synthetic) rubber, and Acrylic.
Newly purchased stainless steel basins or glassware always have some labels attached to them. After removing the labels, there will be traces of stickers left on them. For the traces of stickers on the surface of hard objects, we can use Apply grease-free nail polish remover to the surface of the object, and then wipe it gently with a soft cloth; these traces can also be removed with denatured alcohol or gasoline.
