The difference between private label and OEM

The first two answers have some problems, sorry to say so.

The following is my understanding. Simply put, label means "OEM" and OEM means "Original Manufacturing"

Label is generally divided into two types: private label and while label

Private label means that supplier A designs and manufactures its own products, the products are branded with B's trademark, and B carries out subsequent sales activities of the brand. In this case, B usually does not have its own design and production capabilities, so it directly buys A's mature products and puts its own trademark on them. So from the perspective of the end customer, what they get is B’s product.

Private label also has a name called ODM (Original Design Manufacturer), and A is the ODM manufacturer.

White label means that supplier A designs and manufactures its own products, with only the specifications of the product itself. These products are sold to partners such as B and C for reprocessing and design, and then as B and C are sold to final customers under the brand name.

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is OEM production, which means entrusting production to others. A completes the design and explains the production specifications to B, B produces and affixes A's brand, and A sells to the final customer. B is the OEM manufacturer.

Hope this helps
