Beijing brand TV
Beijing brand TV set is the first black-and-white TV set in China and the first color TV set in China. 1957, the state decided to develop the television broadcasting industry. At that time, the 10 th Bureau of the Second Machinery Department, the competent department of electronics industry, handed over the task of developing the equipment of the TV transmitting center to Beijing Broadcasting Equipment Factory, and handed over the task of developing the TV receiver to the state-owned Tianjin Wireless Power Plant (later changed to Tianjin Communication Broadcasting Company).
1958, the first TV set in China was successfully trial-produced in Tianjin. This black-and-white TV set with 35cm kinescope of Beijing brand 820, which is called "Above China Fold", is still in the product showroom of Tianjin Communication Broadcasting Company. Then, Tianjin Wireless Power Plant made persistent efforts. 1970, 1970 In February, China's first color TV was born in Tianjin Wireless Power Plant, which opened a precedent for color TV production in China. In the early 1980s, the first color TV production line imported from Japan by China was built in Tianjin TV Factory, and Beijing brand color TVs began to enter thousands of households. In 1990s, Tianjin TV Factory set up a joint venture with South Korea's Samsung, and Beijing brand TV sets began to gradually disappear from the market.
FLYING PIGEON bicycle
Flying pigeon bicycles have a long history. 1936, Japanese industrialists set up Changhe factory in Tianjin to produce iron anchor bicycles. Later, the Kuomintang took over Changhe Factory, and the bicycle brand it produced was changed to Shengli, and later changed to China brand. After the founding of New China, the name of the factory was changed to Tianjin Bicycle Factory. 1950 On July 5th, the first bicycle of New China was born here. The workers think these bicycles are strong and light, and the two wheels are like wings, which coincides with the world peace movement. The workers suggested, "Just call them flying pigeons."
After more than ten years of development, the annual output of flying pigeons in 1965 has reached 400,000. At that time, there were four major brands in China: Phoenix, Yongjiu, Flying Pigeon and Hongqi, with the largest production of flying pigeons. However, the peak of flying pigeons entering the "daily average of 10,000 vehicles" was in the 1980s. 1987, flying pigeons had more than 8,000 workers, with an annual output of 3.68 million vehicles. At that time, the benefits were very good. Many trucks have to queue up to the factory to pull goods, and there are millions or even tens of millions of profits every month. 1974 When US President George H.W. Bush was the director of the Beijing Liaison Office, he and his wife often rode flying pigeon bicycles through the streets of Beijing. 1989 When Bush visited China, the Flying Pigeon bicycle was presented to him as a national gift.
Flying pigeons were also the dowry that many girls dreamed of when they got married in the 1970s and 1980s. At that time, when a girl got married, she had to have three big pieces, a bicycle, a sewing machine and a watch. Flying pigeon bicycles are the main products in the north. At that time, there was a flying pigeon bike, just like there is a Toyota now.
In the 1990s, flying pigeons went from peak to trough. After several joint-stock reforms, flying pigeon bicycle has now changed from a state-owned enterprise to a private enterprise.
