Will I be fined for impersonating someone else’s brand?

Yes. First, if the trademark is not approved for use and others use it as a registered trademark, a fine of less than 20% of the business limit will be imposed. Second, the unauthorized use of a registered trademark is counterfeiting other people's trademarks. Depending on the circumstances, it may constitute a serious crime. If it constitutes infringement, a fine of not more than three times the turnover will be imposed. According to Article 53 of the Trademark Law and Article 43 of the Implementing Rules of the Trademark Law, the industrial and commercial administrative authorities may take the following measures to impose penalties. 1. Order to stop infringement; 2. Order to stop sales immediately; 3. Confiscate and destroy infringing goods; 4. Confiscate and destroy tools specially used to manufacture infringing goods and counterfeit registered trademarks; 5. Impose a fine.
