1. Usage load

Label printers can be divided into commercial grade and industrial grade according to different use occasions. Commercial machine-type products mainly meet the needs of office labels and small batch labels. Industrial-grade printing equipment takes into account the needs of high-volume and harsh environments. Generally, industrial-grade products use more metal parts and higher configurations. Their durability and stability are much better than commercial products, and the printing speed is also much faster.

2． Printing accuracy

Label printers are distinguished by printing accuracy. There are mainly two types: 203dpi and 300dpi. 300dpi is about 30 more expensive. If the requirements for printing precision are relatively high (such as jewelry, mobile phones, electronic components (the density of the barcode is relatively high), you can choose a 300dpi model. Under normal circumstances, a 203dpi model is enough.

3. Storage time

Label printers are divided into two types: thermal transfer and thermal based on printing principles. Because the transmission mechanism is relatively simple, thermal printers are relatively cheap. Thermal transfer printers can usually be converted to thermal printing, which has better versatility.

Thermal transfer transfers the toner on the ribbon to the media through the high temperature on the print head. The storage time is relatively long, so it is widely used. Thermal paper acts directly on thermal paper and is suitable for print-and-use areas such as postal and retail industries.
