How to apply for green food witness card
The method of applying for green food witness card is as follows:
1. The applicant fills in the application form for the use of green food signs, with two copies of the attached materials, and submits it to the green food management departments of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and cities with separate plans;
2. The provincial green food management department entrusts an environmental protection monitoring agency that has passed the metrological certification at or above the provincial level to conduct environmental assessment on the origin of products or raw materials;
3, the provincial green food management department of the application materials for preliminary examination, and the preliminary examination of the materials submitted to the China Green Food Development Center;
4. China Green Food Development Center will review the above materials together with authoritative environmental protection agencies. Qualified food monitoring institutions designated by China Green Food Development Center shall sample the declared products and conduct testing according to the quality and hygiene standards of green food. Unqualified products will not be accepted in that year;
5. China Green Food Development Center conducted a comprehensive review and on-the-spot verification of the products that passed the quality and hygiene inspection, and signed the Agreement on the Use of Green Food Signs with qualified applicants. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issues the certificate and number of the green food mark, which is reported to the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce for the record and announced to the public at the same time.

The green food label certificate is valid for three years.
If it is necessary to continue to use the green food sign after the expiration of the certificate, the sign user shall submit a written application for renewal to the provincial working institution three months before the expiration of the certificate. Provincial working institutions shall organize the completion of relevant inspection, testing and material review within forty working days. Those who pass the preliminary examination shall be decided by China Green Food Development Center within ten working days whether to approve the renewal. If the extension is granted, it shall renew the green food sign use contract with the sign user, issue a new green food sign use certificate and make an announcement; If it is not extended, it shall notify the user of the sign in writing and inform the reason.
The user of the sign fails to apply for renewal within the time limit, or the application for renewal is not passed, and shall not continue to use the green food sign.
