The main process for applying to register a Taiwan trademark is: application - review - approval - certification - announcement (3 months). If all goes well, the entire procedure takes 10 to 12 months.
If the applicant is not resident or established in Taiwan, China, he must entrust a local specialized agent to handle the application. The basic materials required for trademark application are:

Note:
1. Taiwan, China adopts the description of goods and services in the 11th edition of the Nice Classification, but some descriptions of goods and services are different from the Nice Classification. The region also has its own classification group.
2. The same applicant only needs to provide one power of attorney to apply for multiple trademarks. If the applicant requires that the trademark image must be displayed in the power of attorney, separate power of attorney letters shall be prepared according to the number of trademark images.
