The production of badge crystal drop molding consists of two types of glue, which we generally call AB glue. It is a modern surface decoration material. Its main component is polymer transparent resin, referred to as component A. Epoxy acrylic resin plus catalyst, referred to as component B, is divided into two types: soft crystal glue and hard crystal glue. Soft crystal glue is divided into (PU glue) and is generally suitable for self-adhesive trademarks, PVC, pearlescent film, and polyester materials. . . Soft plastic signs and hard crystal glue (also divided into UV crystal glue) are generally suitable for nameplates, trademarks, billboards, aluminum alloy nameplates, signs, badges, etc. with hard base plates.
Production process:
1. First, place the printed and punched objects flat on a level operating table and wait for dripping.
2. According to the dosage, take a cup and accurately weigh out glue A (for example, 90 grams), then weigh out glue A and B (30 grams), and mix evenly in a ratio of 3:1, ( Some crystal glues are mixed in a ratio of 2:1, and some are in a ratio of 1:1.) 3. Take a clean syringe, suck the prepared glue into the syringe, and drip it evenly on the surface of signs, badges, etc. Generally, the thickness of the crystal glue layer is 2mm, just let it level naturally.
4. 3-5 minutes after instilling the crystal glue, observe whether there are bubbles or dust particles on the glue surface. If there are small bubbles, use a small needle to pick them out. If you find that the dead corners have not been leveled, Crystal glue can be transferred with a needle.
5. The poured nameplate is cured at room temperature of 20℃-22℃ for 10-14 hours to harden and become a crystal sign that does not stick to your hands.
6. In the case of stickers, trademarks, etc., the thickness is very thin and the boundaries are not obvious. When pouring, it is easy to cause the crystal glue to overflow. It is difficult to reach a thickness of 2mm, so the crystal glue must be made with confidence. Depending on the situation, control the viscosity well. During the application process, it can be left for 1-2 hours to increase the viscosity and adapt to the pouring of thin crystal glue.
7. To make a crystal glue badge with a thickness greater than 2mm, it can be dispensed twice. After the first dispense, cure for 3-5 hours and then add another layer.
8. Cleaning after molding (using toluene, xylene, cyclohexanone), the container needs to be cleaned. After the pectin hardens, it is insoluble in any solvent, so it must be cleaned before it hardens. The machine and containers need to be cleaned. Products made of crystal glue have the advantages of good visual appearance, high transparency and high gloss, and should be widely used in the screen printing industry. Note: If the weather is very cold, you can first heat and dilute the A glue to about 15 degrees.
