However, due to various reasons, there are many problems in the production and sales of Huazhou Orange, especially in the naming right of Huazhou Orange. Many orange producers and sellers outside Huazhou have branded the orange produced outside Huazhou as "Huazhou Orange" as inferior, and some foreign factories have branded it with the address of Huazhou Chinese Medicine Factory or the title of "Huazhou Authentic Orange", which has ruined the reputation of Huazhou Orange.

The authentic "Huazhou Orange" has been severely impacted.

In particular, some people used the western orange produced in Guangxi to pretend to be Huazhou orange, which caused a very bad influence.

Please keep in mind two characteristics of authentic Huazhou orange:

1. Flesh: The epidermis of authentic Huazhou orange is covered with fine fluff, which is one of the main characteristics, including the prepared orange fruit. What you buy is fluffy.

Oranges or pomelos in other places have no fluff. When they are fresh, their skins are very smooth, and when they are dry, they have no fluff.

2. Smell: The authentic Huazhou orange has an obvious smell of dried tangerine peel, which is not available in ordinary orange.

Ordinary orange is said to have the effect of treating cough, but it's far from Huazhou orange.

many consumers think that there will be no big difference. After all, they are all orange, so it is better to eat more ordinary orange. Why spend that high price to buy orange? This is definitely a misunderstanding. Think about why the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties listed Huazhou Orange as a tribute, and all the output should be offered every year, and it should not be circulated among the people.

Common orange products on the market are often mixed with Huazhou orange for sale. The following are two main kinds of common orange:

Pomelo, which is commonly called Guangqing orange, Guanghuang orange and Dawuzhou orange.

It is quite different from Huazhou Orange in plant morphology, original medicinal materials and drug effect.

it is mainly produced in western Guangdong and eastern Guangxi, with Huabei and Luchuan producing the most, commonly known as pomelo and Jiabu. It is an evergreen tree with obvious trunk, long and thick branches, blunt spines on the trunk and branches, and alternate leaves. The leaves are oval, thin, 1-14 cm long and 7-4 cm wide.

There is no fluff on the surface of branches and leaves, and they are axillary racemes. The calyx is cup-shaped, 4-lobed, and 4 petals are white.

There are 25 male berries, the ovary and fruit are spherical, multi-centered, with sweet glandular hairs and edible.

the fruit skin of the medicinal part is hairless and the surface is rough.

The red skin of Prunus mume is bluish green or bluish yellow, and the orange skin of Prunus mume is yellow, with large and sparse oily eyes.

processing is seven claws folded in half, ten pieces tied together, dried or dried.

The orange with five claws is blue (brown) yellow, connected by a ladle, and the claws are folded inward, and ten pieces are tied together.

The young fruit is hairless and rough in appearance. Both of them are not authentic products of Huazhou Orange, and their quality is far less than that of Huazhou Orange. Therefore, it is necessary to distinguish the authenticity when using the medicine.

tangerine and tangerine: the medicinal part is pericarp, which is quite different from Huazhou tangerine.

The hybrid pericarp is usually made from the outer skin of a sour orange of Rutaceae.

Oranges and tangerines are evergreen shrubs with short trunk, thin branches and thorns.

Leaves alternate leathery, elliptic or lanceolate, slightly pointed, slightly smaller, about 8 cm long and 2-4 cm wide, and the entire wing is not obvious; Flowers are small, white, solitary or clustered, calyx 5-lobed, flowers 5-petaled, stamens 18-24, and flowers 3-5 combined.

The medicinal part is pericarp, with three or four petals longitudinally or irregularly, with brown-red, orange-red or bluish-yellow appearance, shrinkage, obvious oil chamber, yellowish inner surface, spongy tendons, rough, no fluff, slightly spicy, and young fruit with thin dry skin and rough surface without fluff.
