Interpretation: Let go of delusion, separation and persistence, which is the Buddha!

Wu Deng Hui Yuan is a history book of Zen in China. Twenty volumes. In the 12th year of Chunyou in Song Lizong (1252), there are two versions of Puji in Shaoding Lingyin Temple, namely, the first year of Songbaoyou (1253) and the 24th year of Yuanzhizheng (1364).

Baoyou was originally sent back from overseas in the early years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, with the inscription of Puji Wang Yongxu at the beginning. At the end of the volume, there is a postscript written by Wu Jingming in the first year of Baodu, and the original text is quite popular, compiled by Jiaxing in the Ming Dynasty and Longzang in the Qing Dynasty (the analysis of Longzang in the Qing Dynasty is 60 volumes).

Extended data

Detailed analysis:

When Buddhism says "put down the butcher's knife", it does not mean the butcher's knife that really kills people.

The "butcher's knife" here refers to malice, evil words, evil deeds and all delusions, delusions, confusion, inversion, separation and persistence. There is also a Luohan, which means to kill a thief. Killing a thief is not really killing a thief. To kill a thief is to kill a thief in a hurry.

The essence of "butcher's knife" is "people's confusion about themselves" and people's persistence in themselves, so talent is the last obstacle to becoming a Buddha; Only by getting rid of people, abandoning people and not being a man can we become a Buddha.
