For most consumers, when they think of "more fresh oranges", they think of "Tongyi", just like when they think of instant noodles, they think of "Master Kong". "Uni-President Oranges" was first introduced into the domestic juice market by Uni-President Company, which also relied on overwhelming advertising to make "Uni-President Oranges" almost a household name across the country.
But in fact, Uni-President Company does not own the "fresh orange" trademark. In this regard, Wu Yiting, general manager of Uni-President South China and general manager of Guangzhou Uni-President Company, also admitted that when "Uni-President" launched plastic bottled orange juice two years ago, it followed the company's juice trademark "fresh oranges" which has been produced in Taiwan for more than ten years. , but according to the relevant laws of the mainland, since the word "orange juice" is a common name, no trademark was applied for. In other words, "fresh oranges" are just a category of juice products in mainland China. As a last resort, Uni-President had no choice but to apply for a patent for the "more fresh oranges" design, that is, bottle stickers, and in January 2009, it obtained design patent protection from the National Patent Office.
