On October 8, 2011, Damintun Town in Xinmin City was rated as a "Famous Commercial Town in China" by the China Famous Merchants Development Promotion Association.
Damintun Town is known as the "Hometown of Vegetables in China", and is rated as the "National Agricultural Standardization Demonstration Zone" and one of the "Top Ten Townships with One Township and One Industry" in Shenyang City. It is the Shenyang Economic Zone Shenyang Fu A new town on the intercity connection belt and a demonstration town for Shenyang’s new socialist countryside construction, it is also a key town in Shenyang’s vegetable export base. The town has 100,000 acres of cultivated land, including 40,000 acres of greenhouse vegetables and 50,000 acres of bare-field vegetables, with an annual output of 2 billion kilograms of vegetables. In 2000, Damintun Town was designated as a green food (vegetable) production base by the Ministry of Agriculture. In June 2011, the Damintun fresh vegetable geographical indication trademark was successfully registered with the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.

The Damintun Agricultural Products Logistics Center is a "designated market of the Ministry of Agriculture". After three years of construction, a total of 160 million yuan has been invested in construction, with a total area of ??120,000 square meters and a total construction area of ??78,000 square meters, with 45 stalls, taking the logistics center as the "leader" of the industry, and relying on the large-scale vegetable production capacity to develop domestic and international markets (mainly Japan, South Korea, and Russia).
