What is white peach?

White peach is a special fruit in Liaoning Province. The fruit is very large, with an average fruit weight of about 300 grams, a longitudinal diameter of 7.5 cm to 7.6 cm, a transverse diameter of 8.1 cm to 9.0 cm, and a maximum of about 800 grams.

The white peach fruit is round, with a flat top, four narrow depressions, and a slightly pointed top. The fruit stem is extremely short, with deep and narrow stem depressions; the fruit surface is yellow-green in color, with a red or pink halo on the sunny side, alternating with light yellow, light red, red and purple;

Plant growth

The buds will sprout around April 10th, and the flower buds will turn red around April 21st and 22nd. It starts to bloom from April 29th to May 3rd and blooms at the end of May 5th to May 10th. The flowering period is similar to that of Golden Delicious Apple. The flowering period in the mountains is about 7 days earlier than in the plains.

The leaves unfold in early May, and new shoots begin to grow in mid-May. The fruit begins to mature on August 15th and is fully matured on August 25th. The fruit development period is about 105 days. It is suitable to harvest from August 20 to early September. The fruit is left on the tree until it is harvested in late September or early October. The surface of the fruit is covered with purple-red stripes and has an excellent flavor.
