What should I pay attention to in trademark registration inquiry?
before trademark registration, most trademark registrants are more or less aware of trademark inquiry. But what does the trademark query need to query? What should I pay attention to in trademark inquiry?

1) Inquiring whether the registered word is a registered word

If the registered word itself lacks distinctiveness or is prohibited by trademark law, it cannot be judged whether its application for registration can be approved by trademark inquiry; There are many words that are forbidden to be registered, and some trademark query software has not sorted this piece yet.

2) query blind area

If there is the same or similar trademark in the previous application, the query result will not be reflected because the time of the two is similar;

3) Examination criteria

If the inquiry report provides several trademarks that may be similar, the agent only makes an analysis through general examination criteria and experience, and his opinions are for reference only and cannot represent the examination opinions of the Trademark Office;

4) Separate inquiry of combined trademarks

For combined trademarks, if only a part of the trademark (such as Chinese or English) is inquired, but other parts of the actually applied trademark (such as graphics) are the same or similar to others' registered trademarks, the whole trademark will be rejected;

5) Trademark design affects the query result

The client only provided the name of the trademark in the query, but the difference in font, color, structure or arrangement in the trademark design draft provided in the actual application will also lead to the query result not fully reflecting the same or similar degree.
