1874, Hu Xueyan founded Hu Qingyutang Chinese Medicine Company in Dajing Lane, Wu Shan, Hangzhou. With the tenet of "No Bullying", "Benevolence is Benevolent" and "Whatever the cost, it is true", Hu Xueyan successfully managed Huqingyutang, making it reach its peak and become the king of medicine in the south of the Yangtze River.

Zhangtongtai Drugstore:

Founded in 1805, about 70 years earlier than Huqingyutang, it is famous for its authentic Chinese herbal medicines in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Hangzhou in 2000. Founder Zhang Mei is from Cixi, Zhejiang. In the fifth year of Qing Jiaqing (1800), Maochang Pharmacy was opened under Xingong Bridge in Hangzhou. In the tenth year of Jiaqing, Shen Tongtai was named Zhang Tongtai. Zhang Tongtai produces all kinds of pills, pills and medicinal liquor, which enjoys a high reputation in Hangjiahu area. Together with Hu Qingyutang and Ye Zhongdetang, Zhang Tongtai is known as the three major pharmacies in Hangzhou. In the first year of the Republic of China, after the large-scale renovation of the pharmacy, the new house was completed, the stone wall door was rebuilt, and the trademark "Vientiane" was engraved on it. The gold-plated characters of "Zhang Tongtai" shine brightly, and the bronze medals of "Zhang Tongtai's authentic medicinal materials" are hung on both sides of the gate. More than 360 kinds of Chinese medicines are made by themselves.

Fang rejuvenation hall:

Founded in the sixth year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1649), it is said that it was created by Zai Chun, the founder of Qiantang Square, which means revival. Therefore, it was named "rejuvenation". Fang Qing is afraid of being born in a family of traditional Chinese medicine, proficient in pharmacology and good at pediatrics. Children's rejuvenation pills refined by secret recipe handed down from family are quite famous in Hang Cheng. Hui Chun Tang, with a deep family background, is one of the six major drug stores (Hu Qingyu Tang, Wan Chengzhi Tang, Ye Zhongde Tang, Zhang Tongtai Tang, Taishan Tang and Hui Chun Tang) that manipulated the Hang Cheng medicinal materials market in the late Qing Dynasty. At the beginning of the Republic of China, with the political turmoil, the rejuvenation hall began to decline. 193 1 year, its capital is only 7,200 yuan, accounting for 7% of the shares of Hu Qingyutang, and its wholesale business has stopped. On the eve of liberation, it was on the verge of bankruptcy. 1955 and then merged into Hu Qingyu Hall.

Wan Chengzhi Hall:

Founded in the early years of Guangxu (1875), only one year later than the "birth" of Hu Qingyu Hall. Soon after its establishment, it became one of the largest pharmaceutical brands in Hang Cheng at that time, and it was also known as the "three-door city" of Hangzhou pharmaceutical industry with Hu Qingyutang and Ye Zhongdetang. However, its boutique materials room was seriously damaged in a fire before liberation, so it closed down soon.
