What does it mean for LeTV to use its previous logo?

Recently, LeTV’s financial report showed that the company had lost 3.919 billion yuan in new investments in the first half of the year! As a result, the Internet began to blame LeTV's logo for its bad feng shui. Many experts and professors said: It had already appeared, and it was expected... Later, there were rumors about changing the name and logo on the Internet... I am weak I just want to ask: If I change my name and logo, will my business be better?

(LeTV has no official statement yet)

At the end of 2015, LeTV cooperated with CCTV Micro Films. Professor Li served as the chief producer and They had met before. When they saw LeTV's new logo, they told the vice chairman of LeTV about the most dangerous image. However, LeTV, who has deep pockets, didn't understand it, so the cooperation was terminated! Today I use this example to warn everyone that we must remember that growth requires methods, and among the methods is culture. What any company must pay attention to is the logo design concept and expression style! Your development goes with it, success or failure with it!

There are three opinions on the Internet about LeTV’s new logo:

1. The “L” of LeTV’s new logo is faulty and the “E” is not dynamic if it is not connected to the ecology. The connection and integration between "" and "E" have no latitude and longitude. A company's logo is its patron saint, and its logo is its totem. The totem must be meaningful and dynamic.

2. The center of gravity of the logo is unstable, and the overall logo is a bit tilted to the left, which is bad feng shui!

3. It’s actually quite interesting to look at this new logo. The blue strip points to noon and the black strip is to the three o’clock direction. This is a sign of bad luck. The green bar is at the top and the red bar is at the bottom. After changing the logo, the stock market has been unlucky. Respect all things as gods, including every brushstroke and every painting, every plant and every tree. Inexplicably, I got tired of the prosperous picture 1, and confusingly replaced it with the colorful picture 2. Starting from the change of logo, LeTV’s fate is completely different.

Then, here comes the problem! Does logo have something to do with Feng Shui?

This topic is highly controversial!

For many years, this question has been buried deep in my heart and has puzzled me.

This time, big names in the design industry are specially invited to give analysis and comments! They tell us from their words: what is the relationship between logos and companies.

Co-founder of China Designer Salon (CDS): Shi Dayu

Chinese people attach great importance to the "Feng Shui" part of logo design, and add too much into the interpretation. No matter how you interpret it, there are points of interest in "Tao". In fact, these are not absolute in simplifying modern symbols (non-concrete totems) that are not particularly concrete, and are pretentious! We only need to design the logo based on people's expressive needs and subconscious aesthetics. There is no god, Buddha or Taoist person who can participate in the design. Are they designers?

If a logo can save a company, then the designer is really a god! The sign is just a "good wish"!

If we must talk about logo feng shui, it basically only accounts for about 20%, and more is about business management and other aspects.

LeTV’s logo has little impact on its development. LeTV does not have a brand image that is closely linked to the fate of the company. To a certain extent, the Nike logo is a very close relationship.

There are very few companies in China that are purely related to design and development. Design in China is more of an icing on the cake!

In addition, I don’t believe in Logo Feng Shui. What should I do with the logos of foreigners?

Senior designer in the industry, blogger of Pangmenzhengdao: Amen

I don’t believe it all!

Senior designer in the industry and Goodmor blogger: Zhu Ning

The success or failure of a large company’s final development has no direct relationship with its logo. The logo only serves as a foil and icing on the cake. Function, how it develops depends on the company's investment direction, business management and strategic layout!

If LeTV makes a profit, others will say: How good this logo is and how awesome it is! Now that LeTV has suffered a loss, a small number of people will blame it on the logo. This is human psychology, right?

Logo Feng Shui layout does exist, but the poor performance of the company is all due to poor Logo Feng Shui. I don’t agree!

Senior designer in the industry and blogger of Three Bones: Bones

It’s all bullshit. The company’s collapse was not decided by the designers. The logo of Yixun.com is not down to earth, it’s not It’s also closed down! Also Logo Feng Shui, do designers still need to learn Feng Shui?

Senior designer in the industry: Huang Yangxian

I believe in Logo Feng Shui! There are many outstanding logos that follow Feng Shui! However, LeTV’s logo designers have not yet reached this level and enthusiasm. Regarding LeTV, I have discussed it with some financial and trading friends. There are problems with the logo, but it is not the main reason for its losses. If the business is not going well, you can’t blame other designers, right?

Senior designer in the industry: Tang Bangqiao

I believe there is a Feng Shui principle in logo design. LeTV’s new logo is too scattered. No wonder the company is in decline.

Senior designer in the industry and blogger in the design circle: Zeng Quan

I think the problem is more related to the company’s management market model and the logo. Personally, I don’t think it has much to do with it. I insist that there is a problem. , it can only be said to be feng shui! I admit, I believe in the principles of Feng Shui. But we don’t know when we design a logo.

Senior designer in the industry and Cong Ye blogger: Cong Ye

LeTV’s new logo overall feels younger and more fashionable, and more Internet-style, but I personally feel that the logo’s graphics Not very pretty. As for saying that fault feng shui is bad, I think it is pure nonsense. It is just a design technique. IBM and Adidas are also disconnected. How can they be strong for so long? Anyone who knows a little bit about the real reasons for LeTV’s decline will not blame it on Logo. Also, I don’t believe in Logo Feng Shui!
