xifeng liquor is produced in Liulin Town, Fengxiang County, Shaanxi Province. Fengxiang, called Yong in ancient times, is the birthplace of Yanhuang culture, Zhou and Qin culture and a famous wine town in China, with rich cultural accumulation. The wine utensils unearthed 6, years ago in this area officially opened the curtain of the history of Chinese wine culture. There are more than 2 Yangshao cultural sites and more Longshan cultural sites. The excavation of Qin Gong Tomb has caused a sensation in the world. The Yongcheng site and the East Lake Garden built by Su Dongpo when he was in Fengxiang are famous at home and abroad.
According to the inscription of Fang Ding in Yin Guang in the late Yin Shang Dynasty and Fang Ding in the early Western Zhou Dynasty, the "Qin wine" produced here as far back as 3, years ago (that is, today's xifeng liquor, named after it was produced in Yongcheng, Qin Di) became the royal wine. Qin Mugong gave wine to detoxify the "savage" who stole horses, as recorded in Records of the Historian Qin Benji, and the allusion of "throwing wine into the river to teach the teacher" after Qin, Jin and Han won the original war against Qin Mugong, as recorded in Wine Spectrum, happened here. It has been rich in fine wine since ancient times, and the wine produced in Liulin Town is the best. Up to now, the folk story of "East Lake Willow, xifeng liquor, Woman's Hand" is still circulating. During the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, xifeng liquor had the reputation of "opening the altar and smelling ten miles, and getting drunk three times next door". In the Ming Dynasty, in Fengxiang, "the side of the workshop was burned, and the fragrance of the whole city was fragrant", and the wine-making industry was greatly boosted. Passers-by often "stopped when they knew the taste, and dismounted when they heard the smell" to enjoy tasting xifeng liquor. In the late Qing Dynasty, xifeng liquor went overseas. In 1915, xifeng liquor won the gold medal in the Panama Games, which made him famous in five continents.
In October, 1956, Xifeng Winery in Shaanxi Province was established under the cordial care of Premier Zhou Enlai. In 1999, based on the operating net assets of Xifeng Winery, Shaanxi xifeng liquor Co., Ltd. was established in combination with other social legal persons. The company is located in Liulin Town, Fengxiang County, in the west of Qinchuan, 8 miles away. It has a vast territory, rich soil and fertilizer, sweet water quality and a unique geographical location for developing agriculture and making wine. It is a famous wine town in China. After half a century's hard work, Xifeng Enterprise has now developed into a large state-owned first-class enterprise with an area of 52, square meters, total assets of 78 million yuan and an annual output of more than 5, tons of famous white wine. It is the largest national famous wine manufacturer in northwest China.
the story of Xifeng wine
Zhou Gong Qing Jie
In the late Yin and Shang Dynasties, Zhou Jun was successful in the Mu Ye War, and Zhou Wuwang rewarded the three armed forces with the "Qin wine" produced in his hometown (that is, xifeng liquor today, named after it was produced in Yongcheng, Qin Di); Later, a grand celebration of the founding of the People's Republic of China was held with Liulin wine. According to Fengxiang's official Ding inscription, when Zhou Chengwang was in, Zhou Gongdan led an army to March eastward, which quelled the anti-Zhou rebellion of Guan Shu, Cai Shu and Huo Shu. After the triumph, he sacrificed Qin wine to his ancestors in Qiyi Zhoumiao (Qishan County, which is now adjacent to Fengxiang) and celebrated his success.
Give wine to detoxify
During the Spring and Autumn Period, more than 3 "wild men" near Yongcheng (Fengxiang) killed several fine horses in Qin Mugong, and were captured by local officials and taken to the capital for theft. Qin Mugong stopped and pardoned their crimes, and the general gave the "wild men" Qin wine to drink, in case of "eating horse meat without drinking". Later, when the Qin, Jin and Han Dynasties war broke out, Qin Mugong was besieged by Jin Huigong and could not break through under the Longmen Mountain. At a critical juncture, suddenly a group of "savages" broke through the encirclement, and the Jin army was defeated, and Jin Huigong was killed by birds. This is precisely the kindness of more than 3 "savages" to repay Mu Gong for "stealing horses is not a crime, but worrying about hurting his health and giving him wine instead".
Qin Huang Dafu
In the 25th year of Qin Wang's victory in politics, in May, Qin Jun defeated Yan and Zhao, and won the political victory, and ordered that a national drinking festival be held, in which Qin Wang and officials from the civil and military departments drank Qin wine heartily to celebrate. In July of the same year, Qin Jun breached Qi, so Qin destroyed six countries and unified the world. The king of Qin held a grand ceremony of founding the country and becoming the emperor with Qin wine, and once again ordered "Dafu in the world" to celebrate the whole country. From then on, Qin wine became the royal wine of the Qin Dynasty.
Salute with wine
In the Han Dynasty, Qin wine was renamed Liulin wine, which has been well known. When Zhang Qian was sent to the Western Regions in 139 BC, Liulin wine was presented to AIA as a gift by the imperial court, and spread to Central Asia, West Asia and European countries along with the camel caravan of the Silk Road. In 121 BC, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty used Liulin wine as a farewell dinner for the soldiers of the Western Expedition led by General Huo Qubing in Chang 'an, which greatly boosted their morale and defeated the Xiongnu many times. According to Fengxiang County Records, from Emperor Gaozu of the Han Dynasty to Emperor Wenjing, the activities of offering sacrifices to five domains were held in Yongcheng for 19 times, and the court officials and poets drank Liulin wine day and night.
Golden Phoenix Walking in the Snow
According to Fengxiang County Records, the Anshi Rebellion broke out in the Tang Dynasty, and the rebels approached Yongcheng. The satrap widely recruited civilian workers to build a new city to prevent accidents, but it collapsed repeatedly. One night it suddenly snowed heavily, which surprised everyone. In the morning, a golden phoenix flew from the eastern sky. Jinfeng circled over Liulin for a while and then flew back to Yongcheng. It held its head high and soared into the sky, and suddenly the wind stopped and the snow stopped, and the sunshine filled the sky. In the brilliant sunshine, Jinfeng walked through the snow and walked in a square circle, then flew to Liulin to drink Liulin spring water, and then flew to the east where the sun rose against the bright sunshine. When the satrap learned about this, he personally looked at it and built a city on the footsteps of Phoenix. Soon, a new city will stand tall on the side of the old city. Later, Tang Suzong succeeded to the throne in Yongcheng, and he ordered that Yongcheng be renamed "Fengxiang" according to the meaning of Jinfeng's flying. In order to commemorate this event, people also renamed the water spring that Phoenix drank as "Phoenix Spring".
Bees are drunk and butterflies are dancing
During Tang Yifeng's reign, Pei Xingjian, assistant minister of the official department, sent the Prince of Persia back to China and went to Tingzitou Village in Liulin Town, Fengxiang County. It was in the spring of March, when he suddenly found bees and butterflies lying on the roadside. Pei Gong was very surprised and ordered the resident magistrate to find out the reason, only to know that Chentan old wine from a wine shop in Liulin Town had just opened its altar, and its mellow and rich aroma floated to the pavilion head five miles southeast of the town with the wind. Pei Gong was very surprised, and improvised a poem: "Seeing the guests off at the pavilion, the bees are drunk and the butterflies don't dance, and the three suns open the Cathay Pacific, which is beautiful." The chief of Fengxiang presented an altar of fine wine to Assistant Minister Pei. After returning to the DPRK, Assistant Minister Pei presented this wine to Emperor Gaozong, and the emperor was overjoyed. Since then, xifeng liquor has been listed as the royal wine of the Tang Dynasty.
Su Shi's ode to wine
When Su Dongpo, a writer in the Northern Song Dynasty, worked as a book signing judge in Fengxiang, he invited friends to drink wine in Liulin on the day when the Xiyu Pavilion in the East Lake of Fengxiang was completed. After drinking, he left a world-famous book "Xiyu Pavilion" and praised Liulin wine with the beautiful sentence "Let's see Nanshan cold and delicate". He also learned the skill of brewing Liulin wine. "It's been a rainy day recently, so I'll try a new Zheng in my spare time.". In the autumn when the grain harvest is good, wine is tasted with a new wine percolator. Later, he wrote to the imperial court and put forward a set of measures to revitalize Fengxiang wine industry. After being approved for implementation, Liulin wine and Fengxiang wine industry flourished, and Fengxiang became a famous wine town in China.
Empress Dowager Cixi praises wine
In the late Qing Dynasty, Eight-Nation Alliance invaded Beijing, and Empress Dowager Cixi led her ministers and palace staff to flee to Chang 'an (now Xi 'an). At that time, the governor of Shaanxi went to meet him, hosted a banquet for Empress Dowager Cixi, and presented Xifeng wine, a special tribute. After tasting it, the queen mother exclaimed, "It's really a jade liquid!" Later, the ministers were given drinks. Up to now, people in Northeast China, Beijing and Tianjin still have a soft spot for xifeng liquor.
