GCC certification is a technical and regulatory requirement of alliance certification advocated by GSO organizations of seven countries in the middle east.
At present, it controls three categories of products: locomotive gcc certification, low-voltage electrical appliance gcc certification and toy gcc certification. Products within this range must be certified by GCC before they can be exported to Middle East countries.
GCC certification is also called g standard certification, which is the same as certification.
What is Gulf GCC certification? GCC stands for Gulf Cooperation Council. The Gulf Cooperation Council was established in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on May 25th. 198 1. Its member countries are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Sultanate of Oman, Kingdom of Bahrain and Yemen. The General Secretariat is located in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The highest authority is the Supreme Council, which is composed of the heads of member States, and the chairman is held by the heads of state in turn for a term of one year. The political and economic systems of the six countries are similar, the royal families are closely linked, and their interests are consistent in politics, economy, diplomacy and national defense. It is an important political and economic organization in the Middle East.
What is GCC certification and what should I pay attention to when doing GCC certification? Introduction to GCC Certification: GCC is the abbreviation of GulfCooperation Council. The Gulf Cooperation Council was established in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on May 25th. 198 1. At present, its member countries are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Sultanate of Oman, Kingdom of Bahrain, Yemen and the United States. GCC mark certification is the market access certificate for products to enter gcc countries.
Since July 1 20 16, the technical regulations of low-voltage electrical equipment and supplies in Gulf countries have come into effect, and GCC certification requirements have been enforced for some products. After the implementation of this regulation, low-voltage electrical equipment must meet the safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements of this technical regulation and be labeled with GC before being sold in the member countries of the Gulf Organization for Standardization (GSO). Some controlled products must be certified by a third-party certification body authorized by GSO and registered with GSO before they can be labeled as GCC. Gimli, Gong Li, Li Xun (copy search)
Gcc certification mark height gcc certification mark height is greater than 5mm. According to the relevant public information, the size of the GCC logo is required to be higher than 5mm, and the GCC logo certification is the access certificate for products to enter the GCC national market.
Precautions for gcc certification 1) Before formal application, it is very important for GCC certification to understand the relevant processes of GCC certification. As the validity period of GCC certification is one year, the application materials are required to be submitted at least three months in advance, and GSO has a three-month holiday every summer, so China enterprises should pay special attention to mastering the time rhythm of GCC certification.
2) The key for China automobile products to obtain GCC certification lies in mastering some special requirements of GCC certification, especially focusing on some items that are different from or stricter than the mandatory standards of China, such as engine cooling system, passenger car interior space and luggage compartment volume, installation position and signs, material requirements of brake friction plates and batteries, special requirements of power control system and exhaust system, etc.
3) China automobile enterprises should entrust a laboratory recognized by GSO for inspection and test as far as possible. The content and format of the test report should meet the requirements, and the test cycle should conform to the period that GSO considers reasonable, and the original records should be kept.
4) When carrying out GCC certification, China vehicles must meet the requirements of high temperature, dust and humidity in the Middle East all the year round. The automobile engine cooling system exported to the Middle East countries should be resistant to high temperature and cross-country, because the temperature in the Gulf region is as high as 40-50℃ in summer and about 20℃ in winter. The vehicle should be equipped with a large water tank to enhance the heat dissipation of the engine through large water circulation. Gcc certification for using large fans, batteries, generators and high-power air conditioners (without heating); Using wide tires to increase the high temperature resistance of tire plies, using sand-proof coatings to improve the surface hardness of automobiles, four-wheel drive, and enhancing off-road gcc certification; Improve the interior decoration.
5) The configuration and interior of the vehicle shall conform to the characteristics of regional culture and demand (described in Arabic, the interior shall conform to the characteristics of Islamic culture, and the luggage space is large).
6) Strengthen the after-sales service of vehicles.
How long is the validity period of GCC certification? The validity period is 3 years.
From July 1 2065, GCC certification requirements will be enforced for some low-voltage electrical equipment and supplies in Gulf countries. After the implementation of this regulation, some low-voltage electrical equipment locally manufactured or imported into the market of seven Gulf countries (including UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Yemen) must meet the safety regulations and EMC requirements listed in this technical regulation.
G marks the certification scope of electrical products.
From June 15 to June 16, the Technical Specification for Low-voltage Electrical Equipment and Supplies in the Gulf was implemented on the basis of experiments, and it was fully implemented from July 16. G Mark's electrical standard specification document is Technical Specification for Gulf Countries-Low-voltage Electrical Equipment and Appliances published by GSO, and the document number is BD- 142004-0 1: Chapter 1 Article 8 "Electrical Equipment" specifies the scope of electrical products that need G Mark certification:
Category I (product list 1): all electronic and electrical equipment and devices with application voltages of 50- 1000 volts AC and 75- 1500 volts DC, except for the specific electrical products in Category 2.
Category II (product list 2):TC 13 specific electrical products 143307-0 1. Please refer to the following table:
1 household electric fan
Refrigerators, freezers and other refrigeration or freezing equipment

note:
A) You can apply for CB certificate report and EMC certificate report within the 3-year validity period, and whether the institutional audit report contains national deviation and meets the requirements; This EMC certificate report needs to be issued by an authority designated by GSO;
B) No factory audit is required, and there is no annual fee. G mark certificate is valid for three years from the date of issuance;
C) The product manual shall be bilingual in English and Arabic;
D) After obtaining G-mark, the products exported to these seven countries need to go through customs clearance documents in the corresponding countries;
