In 1930s, there was a famous Shandong cuisine shop "Jilingyuan" in Jinan, Shandong Province, which was called as three provincial famous shops together with "Huiquanlou" and "Jufengde". Its signature dish "Braised Chicken with White Grass" was deeply loved by Han Fuju, then chairman of Shandong Province. He once rewarded thirty taels of silver for this, and praised: "This chicken is unique, and it should be a must above the top grade."

In the 1990s, the ancestors of Yang Xiao Road, a boy born in 1980s in Jinan, opened a small restaurant named Fuquanju in Luokou Town, Jinan. The main course at that time was braised chicken. 20 1 1, Yang Xiao Road regained the main course of its ancestors, innovatively added braised chicken rice, and opened the first braised chicken rice restaurant near Zhougong Temple in Jinan, with a daily sales volume of more than 300 copies.
